- Today was Australia Day so I took the day to learn about Aboriginal history and then spent the evening at Adelaide's Lights on the River Festival 2025 full of music, food and culture.

It's enjoyable to watch this video and how one experience leads to another memorable experience what seems a beautiful place
Definitely a dehydration issue, I get severe inflammation, headache and nausea if I don't drink enough water! Always carry some drinks with you, and wear a hat and loose tshirt! The biggest issue here is there's low pollution, the sun just hits you! Good idea to spend time at the museums, and nap! 🤗 Adelaide festivals are epic! 💓 (It's the Big Bash Cricket Final tonight, go the Hobart Hurricanes! 💜👍)
Love that I found your channel, now I have someone to do all my steps for me!
Nicely done Polly. I`m glad you had a great time in Adelaide & Australia in general. Memories you`ll cherish I`m sure. When you get back home, you`ll be able to show off your tan as well. I hope you have fun in Melbourne. 😄
36 is warm . 40 and above is hot. sydney a few years back it was 48 in the shade on new years day.
always have water inn your pack and have a small bottle of lemonade. in between the water. my brother was working of rooves in bourke a few yars back he dehydrated . the doctor said drink a bit of coke. it adds fluid plus some minerals and sugar.
I just found you on youtube by chance yesterday... Absolutely love your vlogs, thanks so much for sharing your time in Australia... Go aussies
The Museum and Adelaide Zoo work together. You go to the zoo and say something like "I wonder where the capybara has gone that used to be in this enclosure". Then you go to the Museum and they have a brand new capybara in their display. Anyway, it's only the ground floor that has taxidermy, and then only part of the floor. On the other floors there's a whole lot of Aboriginal and Pacific Island stuff, a big geological display, a really goood Egyptian display, some huge whale sleletons and other animals (not taxidermy), temporary displays and all sorts of other stuff. The Tour Down Under is an international event - the first event for the year of the professional cycling world tour.
it will be the heat the dehydration plus the walking. back off a lot of the walking in the heat dehyd .sneaks up on you without you being aware plus you are not used to this climate . strongly advise walk in evening or just after dawn. adelaide heat is very dry so you perspire without knowing . sydney heat is very humid so you sweat profusely.take care.
