It honestly is so sweet that Otto knew that Peter was Spider-Man at the beginning but played it off as if he didn’t know and just gave Pete many gadgets and suit enhancements to help him be safer and win more fights. Then we know what happens later in the game but it’s still a nice thing to notice.

Completing all the side missions (collecting backpacks, taking landmark photos, stopping as much crime as you can) before going to May's party helps build better suits, gadgets and improves moves. Oh and each side mission has little level bonuses (like webbing crooks, number of uninterrupted moves and a few other levels you need) to improve spidies abilities, getting as much done before going to F.E.A.S.T will help out before you start taking on the really big bad guys

I haven't played a Superhero game since Batman Arkham Asylum. That was a pretty good game. Watching this game being played, it occurs to me that this game is basically just that, with bigger environments... It looks like a fun game, but it's the groundbreaking achievement that I was expecting based on how popular it is.

Yeah, it's very similar gameplay system. It's popular because it's so much better than previous Spider-Man games in terms of variations, gameplay system, & visual. The release was also near MCU Spider-Man movies, so the hype is already high.

Imagine a Hawkeye game, where you can either use close combat, or shoot his bow. Different arrows as gadgets, finishers he can do from long range, like he shoots an explosive arrow and an ice one, where he gets frozen, the explosive arrow gets detonated and the ice explodes. Ice arrows to freeze the floor or enemies. Electric arrows to shock enemies or power up machines in the story, magnetic arrows that attract the guns of your enemies. Or fire arrows to burn wood in the story, or burn enemies armor a bit so you deal more damage. Grapple arrows, a vehicle like the batmobile but for hawkeye. Or like the bikes in gotham knights. Special bows that have triple fire, fast reloading. Toxic gas arrows and one as a finisher where hawkeye shoots one and puts on a mask. Could have the pym arrows, but only usable once. Special villains, but they can also give him a sidekick, maybe co-op. What we need is a 4 player co-op game. Imagine DLC with Ant-man and the wasp. Or an ant-man game, but hawkeye deserves one.
It would be awesome if they added a Spider-Cop Outfit. Like as a secret suit.
Edit: Insomniac Games made a Spider-Cop Suit but didn't add it to the game, unfortunately..

Watching this dude do some challenges actually hurts. I get not everyone is amazing at puzzles and stuff but some of the things which he struggled at, I think even a 5 year old couldve gotten quite quickly
like watching him walk straight past the backpack 2 times at 7:40:39 was genuinely painful
oh god yes!! I thought I was bad for thinking the same, video games are all about patterns and if you recognize one you got the other, it was painful to watch him in some puzzles or in some fights when you can easily go stealthy but chooses to fight everybody at the same time

I liked some of the references to Spiderman 2. but still the game is quite enjoyable if your looking at it from both a movie and or cartoon series perspective. mostly at Otto or Doc OC, and his interactions with Peter Parker or Spiderman. overall a great story and a great game, would recommend to fans of Spiderman or Marvel in general.
The only issues I have with this game is why he only kicks people for the majority of the combat moves
He probably doesn’t want to get his hand damage because the swinging and stuff

He is a RUclipsr the music in the game is subject to copyright laws..... If he plays the game with the music on he could get demonetized and he could get a copyright claim/strike which hurts a channel big time.
