I love this show...my work should be a lot better than it is for how long I’ve been at it and I really do appreciate the effort and thought you put into this stuff you have addressed a lot of my problems so thank you
Gerald wood Ny thanks a lot for the kind words. I think we all feel like we should be further along in our work. I think being honest with ourselves about our weak points is essential to continued growth. Good luck going forward!
Thank you for sharing! I've seen too many tattooers that settle to push out standard/basic stuff just to make money. To me, that is similar to lying and stealing from people. We are very fortunate to have had people trust us enough to help us imrove our artwork. But we can't get stuck. That's why videos like this really help to get our heads back into the game. Thank you again, Fireside!
its all about drawing guys... =)) Example you draw a life figure, it won't look soo good only by the outline but the bit's of shades in the correct places to mark the shape... the key thing is to fallow the shape with its ongoing tone and values of light source...
Thanks for sharing. I had that problem being in Grand Rapids, Michigan owning a street shop . Even if you did draw a tattoo with a big range of value and contrast people did not want to pay for it or getting it done at all. So i ended up doing OK tattoos. Luckywise I found some friends there where I was able to apply what I wanted to do, tattooing looking like a painting or a drawing. Now since I´m back in Germany it becomes mor often that clients want to have me doing my thing and I can apply textures , values, more contrast or just experience what I have not done before . Of course there are still tattoos who are only OK but with a different ranges of clients there are more and more interesting tattoos coming up. Thanks to you guys I tattoo a way much different now even as most artists here in my region in Germany , it is "in " here at the moment to go soft soft soft instead of working with high contrast and value. Customers but do like the designs what me and my co artist are putting out in my studio and there is a big thanks to you because of your work what you put into your channel. Regards Dirk
I thought this video was going to be taking the piss out of "ignorant style" (worst excuse for bad tattoos). It was so much better. Good on you for showing something that you were less than proud of. That takes some balls.
Sublime! You’re truly changing the way Tattooing has been set up in the collective mind, I’m so happy of being able to experience this process of such a sacred ritual as tattooing is.
Before there was the internet or even pictures back in the day you could look at your tattoo on your arm just before battle to inspire you of where you come from
I'm not seeing it. I like the first fish better than the second fish. Having the whole piece all have the same warm cartoony design makes more sense than having a realistic fish in a sunny cartoon lake.
Hey ! Love your channel I recently tried to sign up for your foundations course but ever time I tried to submit my order I kept getting an error message saying Transaction failed gateway error. Could you please tell me if this is a common issue and how to fix it please
As a designer, I'll say one thing, anyone can tattoo it's easy, but doing a good tattoo is hard. You need to understand the color wheel in order to create amazing art/designs.
come here expecting to get info to become better .... and one lil tip and on to asking for money ......oh yeah u are for sure helping people oit ......just let me get my wallet ........hahahahaha noppeeee
I don't like telling people that their client if you tattoo them it distances you from them it's more of a spiritual thing for me especially if you're putting this much artwork into it he'll calling it a canvas is better than calling on the client it's like you're in it just for the money sounds bad
I have the hippie mentality of people should tattoo each other and learn this stuff if they're into tattoos and no one should ever pay for this stuff that's just me
