I just bought this second hand. I originally just wanted a cheap reliable estate like an Astra estate, but for the same price, I got one of these instead! I guess once they are a 10 year old car, nobody wants to pay extra for the fancy features.

I can't decide between the Insignia Sports Tourer Design Nav 2.0cdti or a focus Zetec estate 1.6tdi.
    Any advice anyone?

z1bamster Completly different cars... Astra is the competition for Focus. Insignia is the competition for Mondeo.

To be fair its not much if a choice, but the focus is really pretty grim.

It will be a company car and for some unknown reason I can't have a Mondeo which would be my first choice so it either a Titanium x Focus 1.6 diesel estate or a Vauxhall Insignia sports tourer Design nav.
I've already got a focus estate and have just taken the Insignia for a test drive - didn't like it, not as engaging to drive.

***** well i work for the ITEZ (= Internationales Technisches Entwicklungs Zentrum) in Germany for Opel / GM Powertrain and since the 1970s there was no engineering done by Vauxhall. The whole research, development and engineering is done by the Opel engineers. They really only change the brands on the car ( called "badge-engineering"). It was different before the 1970s. Anyway the manufacturing of some opel cars remains in britain.

Vauxhall and Opel produce the same cars! And they are both owned by General Motors. Vauxhall and Opel are the same, but for different countries. Opel is for the rest Europe and some countries in Asia and Africa, and Vauxhall is for the UK
