I ran across "heavy metal sings Amazing Grace" passed by so many times. I decided to watch one night it's not that I haven't song and listened to the song before, but all I could say was WOW!! I haven't cried that hard and have goosebumps all at the same time. You are now my go-to place for hymns.

I have a diff interpretation of that nod at Th end. & it begins with Daniel walking in front of Th cámara. Never has he done that. Looks at that side camera. Th whole Performance is perfect. Th end & th nod. Hum! So i went back & read this song is from DragonForce, same band that rejected him as th lead 13years ago. In my opinion..he took this song, gave It Life & made it 100 times better. Walking in front of th camera= disrepect. Loook at side camera= R U ready 2 see what i do 2ur song! Walks backwards=there IS no turning back 4 U (DragonForce). Nod= Now, take THAT! Ohhhh i JUST noticed something, th description at th begining..doesnt acknowledges that th song was DragonForces. He Takes autorship of It..& he should. Daniel sings with so much power &emotion, that th original turns insipid. what do u think?
Why? Bcause since he 'found me' ive learned everything he does in camara is, down 2 th smallest detail, planned. Then all of th things he did here, has 2 b related 2 how he kills th song. If i didnt know th background, i would think th nod is 4 th audience. But 2 me, it all adds up 2 a well deserved slap on Drgnfrcs face...look at who u rejected!

This is absolutely my favorite cover. Some observations that I hope are well received. As I’ve gone through your list of videos (I’m not finished) I see a serious transition at 3.5 to 4 years ago. Turning 30 was magical for you. You went from a very good vocalist to a master of performance. More gravity, more resonance, more presence are all in evidence. You’ve had quite a journey and your 1 M goal is in sight.
I think, along with all of his hard work paying off, that is when he started to be himself more. It feels like a massive weight being lifted when you stop caring what other people think.
He's become, one of, if not the best, male vocalist I've ever heard. It's the way he actually performs with his entire being along with his beautiful vocals makes him a phenomenal performer. As another posted, he had his own distinctive style, but the last couple of years, he's hit his stride and his style has been honed to where he stands far out from the rest!
I agree with all that is being said. Dan Vasc has hit his stride and become unstoppable.
@@mrjoey94 I basically agreed, though I would say that Dan still cares about what others think (more like caring for the people themselves). However, he also has gained confidence in what he, himself, knows and thinks, and that he is free to do what he knows he has to do. That's really when the weight lifts.

When I see and listen to a cover that Dan also has done, most of the time those “other” covers don’t come close to Dan’s cover. I then post Dan’s link to his cover and tell people this, “ this is nice, now go list to Dan Vasc sing it” 😝 yep, I do that.

I have listened to this song repeatedly, over and over, wondering why I have been drawn to it, and a few others, and why I keep hearing the melody in my head.
I hear the melodies, and I come here, and listen, and every time I hear this song, I am inspired to continue the writing and research I have been doing, for the last few years...ever since I died, and was sent back, after hearing the love of Our Creator.
The lyrics have a meaning that exemplifies what I have been feeling, and why I have been drawn in.
It's because I have lived this song, and now understand that this song has been inspired, concerning a new age, or dawn...to come.
One which I have seen, felt, and heard.
These are the days of a New World, to come.
One born out of Hope, Peace, and The Love that has been experienced by surrender of one's self, to Who is, and has been...calling us toward His Light.
And believe me... His Light is Love.
Dan has this song down, in a way that brings the Spirit within, to that place of recognition, that I don't think even he understands how The Light has inspired him to sing these lyrics, in this way.
I understand.
And I hope others who understand what I'm saying, can be encouraged by The Light within, bringing us to Him, in a variety of ways.
The Spirit draws whom He will, however He decides.
Over a million here, to hear...if they have the ears to hear.
