日本の警察には敬意を抱いています。
職務質問も日本人の私ももちろんされますが、それが犯罪減少、抑止に役立っています。
1週間に2回の職務質問を受けたこともありますが、1分で終わるので協力してます。
最近、自転車の交通規則が変わって時差式の信号はどちらを守れば良いのか通りかかった警察官に聞いたら親切に教えてくれました。かなり低姿勢な警官が増えた気もします。
ただ、そんな職務質問もレイシャルプロファイリングだと訴えて職務質問を規制しようとする外国人が増えてきました。
治安を守る警察官が圧力に屈せず、日本人だろうが、外国人だろうが、声を掛けられる日本のままでいて欲しいと思います。

Redditを見れば分かるけど、外国人に職務質問をするだけで警察官は差別主義者と批判されるみたい。

When some one drops money, usually following person picks it up and hand it over to owner. It is happier to do so. Children are brought up to get this caracteristic when start speaking.

I'm Japanese. Home visits by police officers are not popular, and only a minority of citizens have connections with the police. However, there is no fear of being shot or arrested, so there is little sense of caution. It's like being an employee of a security company. There are some bossy police officers, but they generally behave in a way that shows no disrespect to citizens. The higher rank a detective is, the more humble he is. I often see videos of friendly American police officers in Japan, so I thought it was great that American police officers could tell jokes and help with everyday life. Japan is a very safe country but the police in Tokyo extremely rarely use guns unlike the US, but the police in rural Japan is much better than the police in major cities. I remember being stopped by the police 6 times a day for ridiculous reasons. The worst I got was I crossed a zebra crossing on a green light!
