- Despite the scary end to this trip that Sherri and I talk about at the end of the video, we really did have an amazing last day in Skagway! We got to ride the White Pass & Yulon Route Railroad, eat some amazing Indian food, do some shopping at one of our Shop 49th businesses, and then go on an Electric Bike ride.

OMG! Poor Auburn! But she has you both to take care of her!!! Good thing , you were right there for her! I hope all she had was soreness , no broken bones, or teeth! The white pass train trip brought back such good memories for me, thanks for yaking me with you! And between the coffee shop, and the Quilt Alaska store next to it.....Skagway sure is a great place to visit! Sure hoping to come back to it, soon!

The White Pass & Yukon Route excursion offered by DCL during our Alaskan cruise was THE BEST memory my family and I have of Skagway. The scenery was amazing, and it was cool to cross into B.C.
I took note of the coffee shop, gift shop, and Indian food restaurant that you mentioned. Hopefully I will get to visit Skagway again and support those business.
I’m so sorry that your visit ended with Auburn’s injury. Thank goodness for the helmet! I hope that she continues to heal emotionally and physically.♥️

Praise the Lord that Auburn was wearing a helmet. Last year my mom was riding with my nephews (9 and 5 at the time) and she did the same thing (w/o a motor though) and hit the side of her head on the ground. The oldest went to get my dad while the youngest stayed with my mom. She had a serious concussion, but never went to the er for. The youngest told her all last year that he didn't want her to ride her bike because he didn't want her to get hurt again. So, last month she got a 3 wheeled bike, the only way she falls off is because she can't sit on the thing and we told her she had to wear a helmet from now on. Poor kids.
I'm so thankful that she and Auburn are ok and that Auburn is on the way to full recovery.
I'm glad you guys had a great time and thank you for showing Skagway off. I've always wanted to visit but after ordering from the Klondike shop and having a some difficulty with the address portion Nicole emailed me back and was so helpful. I really would like to visit so I could actually visit the shop in person. I'd also feel right at home, because it looks just at big at our village. :D I'm looking forward to Auburn's videos (not her accident), I love seeing a different perspective when you guys are together, plus just from the videos, she seems to have such a maturity for her age, well, I think anyway. lol Enjoy the rest of your week! I really love the whole SE Alaska series. You got to see and experience things on this trip that people come from all over the world to see and experience. You made memories that will last a lifetime (and shared some of those with us). So sorry the Skagway part of your trip ended like it did. Glad Auburn is recovering. I’m sure you and Sherri are meeting her every need. Although I haven’t met her, and know only what I have learned from her channel and yours, my guess is she will be back on that electric bike on her next trip to Skagway (just maybe not the dirt or gravel roads).
No doubt that she will be back on a bike again :)

Oooooh no!!!!! Poor Auburn! Just based on the shape of the helmet, I'm glad she was wearing it. And I'm glad she had someone there with her. And I'm especially glad she's healing. You guys are so sweet with how you just wanted to take care of her and got her mozzerella sticks. That's how I get when someone I care about is hurt or sick.
The White Pass Railroad is now on my bucket list. That looked like such a beautiful ride and experience. So awesome.

Thanks for reminding me of the great memory we have of the White Pass Railway! We took it to Carcross when we were in port during our cruise and completely agree with your review of it. Glad you had a great experience! Sorry to hear about Auburn's accident. I can imagine how scary that was for all of you. I hope she is healing well!
Poor Auburn! Bet she was mighty sore the next day... Glad all is well. I also love Skagway... Looks like an amazing time! If you ever get back to Skagway and get to go back on the train, try to go as far as you can. I thought I might get bored on an 8+ hr trip but it just gets better and better...

Falling can be terrifying, i had a really bad fall in my own house last week...missed a step and went flying landing so hard on my side....shoulder and knee are still in pain a week later.....i'm glad you are ok you just never know whats going to happen!😔😔💕💕

Trust me we have had family vacations with our children which have ended with bumps, scapes and yes a broken arm! We loved Skagway on our cruise a few years back! We did an awesome bus tour that took us to some beautiful spots, Emerald lake was one of our favourites!

Just watched this vlog coming off the live tonight when talking about fractured ribs after a fall. I didn't know what happened until I watched. So glad the helmet protected Auburn's head!!! What a scarey experience!!!

I went face first over my handlebars 8 years ago when my tire caught in a curb. Don't worry, my chin and my front teeth broke my fall -_- I am now the proud owner of two porcelain veneers and a few scars.

We’re going to have a 2 day layover in Juneau, so I’m hoping to visit the places that you shared on your channel! I have only been to Alaska once, 2 years ago and it grabbed ahold of me and I knew I had to move there! It’s such a magical place that unless you’re dead, you fall in love with it!! We’re moving to an area that we’ve never been to before! So it’s going to be an epic adventure for sure!🤗
