Hey man, Your videos have helped me a lot and I have a question on the off chance that you'll be able to respond to it. What "on Activation" command shall i type in the trigger if i want it to generate a new spawn point after activating it without removing the previous spawn location?
Great series of videos mate. :) Related to this one, I'm trying to setup a mission so that as the players progress, rather than the one spawn point moving it just opens up more spawn points for them to choose from as they progress. Is there any simple solution for this? It would be ideal if those spawn points not yet unlocked (via other triggers) don't show on the map yet, but if that's not possible then to just showing them as not available yet would also be fine. Any simple way to adapt what you've shown here to do this? :) Thanks - would love to see more of these - subbed!
I'm actually not sure how you'd be able to do this. Any spawns you want to have in a mission need to already be placed in the editor. To have them appear later would be difficult, because you have to set the mission properties to "select respawn position" and when the mission starts it will show them all, whether they are visible markers or not. I'm sure there is a way to do it, but not sure how to achieve it. I'll do some research and see if I can find a way. If so, I'll do a video on it.

Go to "Attributes" in the editor, "Multiplayer" then make sure you have "Respawn on Custom Position" checked and "Select Respawn Position" checked. Click below for what that looks like. ocb.net.au/images/crp.jpg
@@OnlineCombatBN Thanks for the reply. Sorry i didn't say before, i am using static spawns for now. I have a respawn at base and one at the airport on the Tanoa map. But i when i hit respawn, i dont get the option to spawn at a different location. On the odd occasion, i also spawn out at sea in the left hand corner of the map lol It is my first time in the editor so only gotten as far as setting up a squad and adding a few buildings & vehicles. Want to get this part right before moving on. T.I.A That's how i have set mine ;) I may need to change respawn timer though? imgur.com/KZqIp90
Hi mate, great tutorial, just have one issue, I followed it completely fine, named both of my respawns "respawn_west" and "respawn_west2" and for some reason, the screen will only show the leader board, a countdown underneath it and then it'll just spawn me back at the closest respawn point, any fixes?
I have that ticked and have it all labeled right but still can't select spawn just does it random **edit- fixed it had to turn off custom loadout on spawn and am just going to put a virtual arsenal as new spawn :) big thanks 😊 🙏
@@OnlineCombatBN it spawns both friendlyl and enemy AI. It seems it only respawns characters who are labeled "playable". When I set just two playable characters they respawn regardless of the team. id like it to be just player controlled characters.
@@OnlineCombatBN yes. the respawn is "respawn_west" and it spawns any faction that is marked playable. I removed opfor playable and they no longer spawn there.

@@Drexus80 put the spawn point then sync a trigger , it will only be usable once the trigger is active

Nvm, sorry for the bother, forgot to select the "select respawn point" in the attributes section. Silly me
Make sure in multiplayer attributes you tick "Select Respawn Position".

Friendly AI or enemy? Is the mission one that allows AI to respawn?
