Dude, what u did here, its ART. The only thing i would add more, was before showing zachs boot was to put his quote line “embrace your dreams, and whatever happens…". then you show the boots close up and then end. Other than that, everything in this fan trailer yours is PERFECT.

Wow! The creator of this 100% understands what makes for an awesome trailer! The music cuts are great, Sephiroth being held back to near the end of the trailer is excellent and the end was just the right amount of teaser and vicious spoilers
What do you use to make these trailers? I’ve been trying to get better at making trailers like these but i haven’t had much luck this looked phenomenal.
Hey glad you liked it dude! I use Final Cut Pro for all of my edits, it's on Mac and a lot of people find it to be the friendliest editing software in terms of its layout. One thing I think also helps when editing a trailer is to listen to any music you're planning to use and imagine how the scenes will look in your head. Once you've got that down the rest of the trailer just opens up. But you don't HAVE to do everything in chronological order, I usually edit the parts I think look the most cool and then go from there. Hope this helps dude and good luck! ;)
Great job! The editing, transitions and music was phenomenal. I do think it's a little too centric on Cloud and Tifa. It made it seem more like the focus of the trailer should've been on them and everyone/thing else aside from Barrett felt a little out of place. If that was the point of the trailer, I would've rather seen it come full circle for continuity in theme, otherwise maybe spreading the love a little more for the significance of other characters and themes to shine, but that's my opinion. Although I like the trailer, I dont feel it really captured FFVII in a way to help me feel like I knew what it was acyually going to be about. Again, nowadays trailers do show too much of the story, so thats a good thing, but the theme and purpose seemed a little off. Otherwise aesthetic wise it was great!

Originally I was only going to use the opening promise part, but that clearly spiralled out of control lmao. You can tell by how little Barret and Aerith are in the trailer (had to squeeze Aerith in at the very end ahaha). I appreciate the comment, and I’ll keep it in mind ahahah, thanks dude!
