Pam, I am always amazed at the memories you bring out in me when I see your videos. The little letter to Santa was adorable. My kids used to Give us 2 lists, one that was their what I called “no way in Hell” list and their other “ ok, that’s more like it” lists. My son who will be 37 this August started it this when he was around 10 and my daughter followed suit. Thank you for the walk down memory lane.
I believe the picture with soldiers that had points on their guns were Prussian Soldiers. So much love and work on that journal! I love all the oddities.
Hello Pam … I remember watching the video you made when you made the cover. OMG … that journal is huge!! I love your spontaneity, your creativity and always thinking outside of the box. You are a happy soul.♥️
This only took you 2 months to create? Your talents never cease to amaze me. The painting of the mushrooms...I love mushrooms AND trees. Gorgeous. Genius. Thank you for sharing this treasure. Love your tutorials.
My heart stopped when I saw Robinson and Cleaver. Part of our history in Belfast too. I learned something, I never realized that it was a London shop. The original store still has the name engraved on the stone facade, on Royal Avenue, Belfast. I think the 'wall' on the postcard from Ireland is a man stacking turf (peat which is burned in an open fire). Hi from Northern Ireland.
Omg..I am so glad to see how full she is. I made my first one as a gift for my friends daughter's birthday. I thought maybe I overdid it. But now I am very happy.
I can believe it took two months! I recognize her from many videos. Absolutely beautiful with so many gorgeous elements. An beautiful example of putting your heart into your work.
Wow, someone got a real treasure with this one; it is amazing!!! You have THE best COOLEST ephemera I have ever seen. I would be taking this out many times a day just to look at her and touch her, she is stunning!!!
I made a hand lined stamp out of a piece of 2X4 and regular rubber bands. I glued the sides to keep the bands from moving and it’s perfect for a small journal. Thank you for the tutorial. Love this! I would love to know how to avocado dye.
The Cym currency is from the Cayman Islands, just in case the buyer wants to know. Lovely walk-through. It's interesting to me that so many pieces (documents, letters, photos, etc) originated in Illinois (my home state) and ended up in Florida. A lot of us Northerners moved south to escape the cold! Cheers!
Happy Saturday. I have some catching up to do now on the videos. She is so beautiful and full of wonderful treasures and loaded with inspiration and creativity. The owner of this chunkey monkey journal is going to be in for a treat for sure. Love it.
Incredible journal! Love the cover! Amazing ephemera! Always so much fun to see inside of your journals, Pam! TFS the inspiration! Stay safe and healthy!
Loved it...yet, another masterpiece filled with oddities and Fun ephemera! I feel so Happy and motivated when I watch your videos! Stay Happy, Healthy and Safe! 👍🦋😷💕
Hey Pam! I have yet to " Jack be nimble Jack be quick" and jump on over to your Etsy shop in time to view one of your journals for sale! 😃 I'm just curious as to pricing. Could you tell me how much this Mysterious one sold for? Thanks
The size of this journal made me giggle! Reminds me of my chunky cat! I have tons of things from my Grandparents parents, and other family members that I want to put in a journal like this. You have given me the inspiration to get one started! Thanks Pam for all your ideas and fun videos on how to put one together. You always make me smile with your dialog on your videos! Reminds me of my dear sister who use to chatter away. She passed away in 2013 and I know she would have loved making a journal like this!
Fabulous journal! I have watched you make so many of these things, but seeing it in her is very special. Everything came together so perfectly and I could go through this journal so many times and see something new. Wonderful work! Tfs!
Another great journal Pam. They are always so interesting with all the goodies you put in. One of these days I want to get one of your journals.....seems I'm always too late. Thanks for sharing.
Only 4 hours in and it was SOLD, it is fantastic, love love all your vintage things, you must have loads, have you been collecting for years? I loved the little child’s letter, I wonder if he ended up as an entrepreneur? He definitely knew to get in for his birthday, I call that forward thinking 🤓
Hi Jacqui Liddell! I love to hunt for treasures and have been collecting for years. Some of my favorite hunting grounds are garage sales, estate sales, friends and family, businesses who are going paperless, thrift shops, antique stores and good old ebay :) That child's letter is so precious, I agree! Happy hunting! It's fun! :)
An amazing journal!! I loved the dried flowers and the children's book "Taking Turns". I loved so many things about your journal. Thank you for sharing so much of the makings of this journal.
What a great treasure of a junk journal! 👍 Love the Ephemera, old receipts, letters and such give a glimpse into a time gone by. Enjoyed 🙂the flip through very much and I do love 🧡 how you combine so many different styles and in the end it looks absolutely wonderful!
Your journals are amazing and you inspire me all the time! I want one of your journals so bad but I’m never fast enough to grab one! 😭, but because of you I’m trying to get the hang of making one , though I still want one of your treasures!
Wow, just look at that amazing Mrs Gatormouth. Love this and I haven't watched video yet. You're the best. You always lift my spirit, regardless of what you make or what you talk about. Thank you so very much. Take care and God bless you and yours. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
I love it so much but I would feel bad about writing in it :D I would probably just flip through it, it's interesting enough as is without any journaling having been done :)
Wow Pam! Your journal went fast! lol.. It's beautiful and inspiring.. I'm starting a journal, but can't decide how many signatures I want. Decisions, decisions.. Thank you for the ideas you inspire in me and the relaxing videos.
Darn it!!! I didn't get up early enough. I loved this journal, the front especially. I'm a tree lover! 😭😭😭 Well someone is very lucky! One of these days I'll grab one of your treasures! Stay blessed.
Oh my goodness My friend just left me on my deck a large bag of material ribbon a paired fussy cutters lace fresh egg from her chicken s ducks empty baby spray bottles for my dye s I’m going to make her a journal with everything in it even the eggs yes I’m going to make her something out of the egg shell 🐚 yep I’m May I ask how you did the tree on the front I love your workthank you for being my friend God bless you and stay in please and keep us sane with your ideas PLEASE
Sure, I used modeling paste and a stencil! I have a video on this technique coming out this week! ( Maybe tomorrow or Friday :) Oh Just remembered I did do a video on how I made the tree - here is the link ruclips.net/video/XQX33HU-YHA/видео.html Its 4 parts but I think it is in the first part.
Beautiful journal, I have been making my own journal filled with my watercolors and favorite poems for the last year. You definitely inspire me! I love your videos, where do you get all your wonderful paper trinkets for your books?
Hello again Pam, I have a couple of questions - have you ever made a naked (blank) journal? If yes, how much did it cost? I'm not saying that I can, but I'd love to buy a blank journal if I could, I guess it would depend on the how much part. Thank you again for everything you do. Take care. Becky B
Hi pam, i JUST WATCHED YOUR. INTO THE WOODS JOURNAL WITH THE OWL ON IT* I WAS SO DEPRESSED WHEN YOU SAID ITS COMMING INTO "OCTOBER"!!! I GUESS I MISSED THIS WONDERFUL CHUNKY JOURNAL , I GUESS I MISSED OUT. MY HEART IT POUNDING..... I WANTED IT SO BADLY*😢 SORRY FOR ME BUT CONGRAGATION TO WHO EVER GOT THAT ONE....... SAD, JULIE FROM IDAHO
You inspire me and countless others to get in there and create...I believe one day when there is little to no paper around that these journals and books in general will be treasured by those who find them... love all that you do. One question... what kind of plant is it that you took the leaves from ( the skeletony leaves) to put in your journal? Thank you and be safe♥️
This is just fabulous! I just also watched your 4-part series on making a Big Journal. Waiting for chipboard to get back in stock:) I’m new and trying to figure out exactly what I want to do and what speaks to me. SO many lovely ideas. My question is this - in the tutorial, you had no page embellishments when the journal was sewn together. Would that method work if I have sewn embellishments/pockets/trims etc on the pages before they are sewn in? Thank you for this and so many wonderful videos. I’m learning so much. Great way to spend time these days!
Hi Gigi, yes you can decorate the pages ( meaning place tucks, pockets or belly bands etc, anything that is permanently attached) before or after sewing them in :) I would not load the pockets until you have assembled the signatures into the spine or else everything will fall out as you assemble it :) Hope this helps! :)
You are to talented and creative, I love your style of combing all types of medium to create beautiful, tactile masterpieces. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us I am definitely a new subscriber. I am amazed how you use old and vintage paper and trinkets. Where do you find those?
I just turned my husband on to this channel and now he wants to try this. Yes, my husband loves to craft.

Hi Liz, thanks! I think its a bougainvillea :)
The Paper Outpost thank you so much for responding...I will try to find one or two of those to add to my flower garden♥️

That was a 10 Pfennig (like penny) piece used from 1947-2002 (correct me if I’m wrong). You have such amazing ephemera!
Hi nommh! This is so interesting! Thanks for sharing this info! :) Pam :)
