World Class was awesome! The territories were the best. All different talent and different styles of wrestling. Miss those days. Wrestling was so much better and more were watching.

Great job as always, fellas. Would love to see a Marc Lowrance interview in the future. I bet he would have a bunch of good World Class stories as well.

Marc Lawrence has a personality like a funeral director. Monotone all the way Daddy. If you didn't know Marc was going to Bible collage when he started working for Fritz. He has no stories to tell, other than what he said, did on the shows. He was never around the wrestlers. Do you think Kevin and the Missing Link were busting out rails in front of him.

I spent the Summer in Isreal in 1985. World Class was crazy over in Israel. The TV aired on Sunday evenings and Von Erich tshirts were everywhere.

The thing that pisses me off about Manning is how he claims that he was the Booker. He was a referee and Fritz's gopher, but according to him he thought up everything Gary Hart ever did. The ass clown takes credit for the Freebird Von Erich fued, when you can watch the Georgia championship wrestling shows with Gary rt before the birds came in. Hell even the egomaniac that P.S. Hayes is admitted it was all Gary Hart

The birds were in wccw for weeks before gary hart left. Gary hart left after a bad payoff on the christmas show where the birds turned heel. Gary booked the turn... Then left it to mantell

To not mention mickey grant or bill mercer with regards to the tv is criminal.

Or Gary Hart the one that actually booked it

I wrestled in high school in the early 70s in Dallas, and David Manning wrestled for Irving McArthur. Manning was a great amateur wrestler, and was state champion in Texas at 145lbs I think....He was tough...

Any possibility of getting Lance Von Erich? Lacey Von Erich could also be a good episode as well as Marshall and Ross.

Hey David my name is Richard Herron, you introduced me to Kerry and Kevin at Grand Prairie HS fieldhouse, that was a tremendous highlight in my life I was trying to get into wrestling. The other choice was made, it's understandable. I wanted to thank you for your efforts. I think you remember me I set the Texas state record In the deadlift. Again thank you very much. Gary Hart described things in the office differently. He said that Fritz wasn't as hands on day to day and he had other business interests that kept him busy.

There ain’t no way those veterans would have put up without all hell breaking loose in 1979. I think he got his dates mixed up, probably around 1981 a year before WCCW.
