Hi Tom, just a little FYI . They are not pronounced Hansgroheee but Hansgrohah. it's German and the language is phonetic where the ending E is pronounced AH.Your not alone, even Porche car owners and dealers mispronounce their cars, just calling them Porch instead of Porchah
There is a very specific set of instructions on how to set the temperature and adjust the temperature handle. You will need a thermometer (electronic is best) but regular will do (allbeit slower). Contact Hansgrohe for instructions on your particular model. If it was put in by a plumber, it is possible he didn't read the instructions or didn't feel like doing it (it wasn't his favorite brand).
Tom, I have a ThermoBalance I retroaktiv, when I move the handle it moves 360 degrees, is there a on/off for the control that I'm missing so the handle will stop at an on position and off in the off position.
I have one of these controls and I cant get the temperature to adjust . it rune full hot and when you adjust center knob to cooler, it does not change water temp until you go all the way counterclockwise and then it just runs cold.Any ideas why? It hasn't worked since installed.
I have one thats very hard to turn (on off control). No debris when i pulled it

"You're" not "your". "Porsche" not "Porche". Take care of your own shit first...
@@declanlynch3798, Capt Nemo was very respectful and I liked his tidbit of information. No need for you to be rude when correcting him.
Not sure where to ask this question. Can you give me your opinion on Newport Brass and Phylrich? Thanks in advance.

ceramic discs cracked on two different cartridge units :(
Very shallow explanation. I was hoping for a breakdown of the thermostatic valve, it didn't happen. I found this posting pretty useless.
