@Ebidle Either one, both have a lot of potential. I like their chances way more now than with Kirk, and remember we just had a 13 win season 2 years back with Cousins and a new coaching crew

The condition on the trade for Fields was that if he starts over 49% of snaps in the season, the draft pick they gave up moves up 2 rounds, so I doubt he starts half the games.
A similar deal was made when the Packers sent Rodgers to the Jets if I recall...

speaking of the tokyo chargers. in madden 24 i relocated most of the teams to create different regions. i made the AFC ohio and the afc almost 4 corners. i also made the NFC pacific. left the 49ers, cant remember the australia team and then made the tokyo aviators and honolulu dreadnaughts for a moment of dark humor

I'm curious about toms hated for the vikings. I get the division rival and all that, but i don't really remember the vikings ever having an edge on the packers. My dad is a vikings fan, and step mom was a packers fban, so I've been pretty aware of the two, but packers have ALWAYS done better than the vikings. Is there any deeper reason besides the fact that he legally has to hate them?

They should also raise the minimum to $2 Million.
A more just NFL....the only reason the QBs makes such massive money is because they changed the rules to create more scoring.
Or just go NBA with a soft cap (for new free agents) and luxury tax or MLB with no salary cap and only a luxury tax.

Hockey and nba are still worth watching. Also i'm not scared of the chiefs like others are. Mainly because as it goes for super bowl champs, they are lacking compared to some of the past teams. And i see a team sneaking up on them and beating them. No team also has 3 peated. Not even the very good pats teams back in the day.

Even WR wise, it's a weak group compared to past champions. And if they some how 3peated, it would just show that the league itself isn't as good as it use to be. The recent chiefs teams, aren't as good as some past champions. Like a team like some of the past ravens teams or even better yet past denver broncos teams. Especially the ones that elway was qb of.

How? The Steelers just got a theoretically effective o-line. Russ' only means of seeing the middle of the field is to scramble _in the pocket_ to find a gap he can see through.
Has Russ regained that ability?

@@SteelersNation7 You have to look more deeply to see what's wrong with Russ. He's led the league in passes behind the line of scrimmage.
For five years straight. This leads to a ton of 3rd & longs because the receiver has to make YAC just to get back to zero making 1st & 2nd downs average under 3 yards. He used to scramble in the pocket to a vantage point he can see the field. He can't do that anymore & just panics & throws the ball away, an INT or a check-down.
So a good chunk of his TDs came in a 5-game stretch where the defense got TOs on the opposing side of the field. He throws behind the LOS over 20% of the time now. No one can possibly succeed in the NFL doing that.
It kills drives because the D know to expect passes on 3rd & long. So Russ has been incapable of sustaining drives At All for three years now. Something drastic would have to change in his play for that to change.

Why do believe every piece BS about Russ? Russ is a very smart guy. He graduated from NC State in 3 years, then took graduate business courses during football season. He went to Wisconsin for his final year of eligibility, took them to the Rose Bowl after winning the Big Ten title and finishing his Masters Degree at the same time.
