thought this might be interesting for those who didn't know, but Canus is a Dullahan which is a type of faerie in Irish folklore and a carbuncle is a small animal in south american folklore that is said to bring about wealth - they tend to be shown as some sort of fox-like creature with a gem on their foreheads edit: also, great video - i really want to play the game even more now
thank you so much for this review!! it can be hard sometimes to find reviews that aren't full of spoilers 😔 i have been rlly interested in picking up another otome but I've only played a few and of course wanna research bc of the price tag lol. i think im gonna go for this one- bc i love a good story that can make me cry and from what ive heard the angst in this game hits just right
"the code realize common route is too long" says the girl who passed on the option the game gives you to skip the entire common route after one playthrough hdsfkshd like babe,,,,they know too,,,,that's why the option is there
LOL yeah I just used the skip button those times so that didn’t bother me it was more so the first route when I had to play the entire common route I was like “this is so long”
Great review! I’ll definitely play it....when I have time ;-; Also maybe sometime you could do a Code Realice review, it’s probably one of the most popular otome’s out there and personally I didn’t like most of the routes but I want to hear your opinion, it may change how I see the game. Btw have you played Ozmafia? I was totally surprised by the plot twist and the brothel route holy shit.
I’m glad you liked it! And yeah I’d be willing to do a Code Realize review at some point! Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the game, but I personally don’t see why it’s as popular as it is and why it’s considered one of the best otomes, so maybe we’d have some similar opinions! And I’ve heard of ozmafia but haven’t played it yet. I definitely plan to though I think I’d like it!
@@Its_Moog I'd definitely recommend Ozmafia too!! (and nice review, I had never heard about Cafe Enchante but this really makes me want to check it out!)
I was just trying to copy how the characters said it but I could have misheard or maybe they don’t say it right either since they talk in Japanese. I’m very unfamiliar with the language and was trying my best
@@Its_MoogIn case you were wondering, the word is pronounced “ahn-shant-eh.” It means “Delighted (to meet you),” but it also could mean “enchanted” since the game involves mythical creatures.
I would have probably not been interested in it at first glance, but your review does trigger my attention. I may give it a try. Thank you ! Btw, -- I can't help sorry, I'm happy to see French words because I am French-- if you want to pronounce it perfectly: café is just as you said kah-feh. But for enchanté: You should not pronounce the "n". "En" and "an" are the same sound to us so you can repeat it twice: an-shan. It's hard to explain how to pronounce our "an"/"en", but I found this on the net: For “en”/“an”, try saying the word “song”, but stop just before your throat closes into the “ng” sound. You didn't do "tch" instead of "sh" which is nice. We don't have a tch sound. As for the last syllabe: té is the same as in café, it's teh. I hope it was useful ! It's odd to explain French pronunciation which words are used in a Japanese Otome Game xD Apparently, Japanese people love our culture so they tend to put words here and there to appear distinguished.
I’m glad! And oh yeah that’s interesting. The characters in the game pronounce it pretty close to the way I said it (at least that’s how it sounded to me) and in English the word is pronounced that way so it’s very engrained in me haha.
@@Its_Moog oh I expected the characters to say it that way. Bc welp they're not French either xD It's charming to listen to a foreigner saying French words. It makes me feel as if I'm classy haha

This gonna be my first “otome”… Found your video because I’m intrigued by this game and it’s on a nice Black Friday sale!
Oh that’s awesome! I hope you like it!
This game is so underrated ! Thank you for making this. It’s one of my favorite Otome games too :)
Definitely interested in playing this otome game now!
I’m glad!!
Why do I find a headless guy so cute !?

This seems like fun! I prefer these quirky whacky dark themed games... Thanks for the video 😁
Time to go game hunting... 💃
I’m glad you enjoyed it!!
@@Its_Moog they bring me many laughs and smiles, they're great 👍🏻
Oh yeah I remember picking between the two games but I picked this one cause it looked cute plus if I remember this one was cheaper?

Why am I so bothered by the mispronunciation of enchanté. Like it doesn’t even translate to enchant 😫
