I just realized that this is the "perfect" instrument, as assuming constant temperature and pressure it will never go out of tune! (Oh, absolutley fantstic performance as well! haha)
The water in the glasses would eventually evaporate even at constant room temperature. But I agree, it's a really underappreciated instrument

Is that Voldemort playing the Glass Harp? Sorry. Just kidding. I LOVE THESE FOLKS! As limited an appeal that the glass harp has (Mozart, Handel, Beethoven and Strauss composed for it, and Benjamin Franklin improved on the instrument's design) the sound and tone that flows from it is so ethereal and other-worldly. And these two musicians have taken this art to a whole new level. Bravo!

Just watched a different video of a man doing the Star Wars theme on glasses. I immediately went looking for the Harry Potter theme after watching that. This is even better.
the sound is so hauntingly fitting, composer for fantasy movie scores should actually consider getting these guys into the studio.

For those asking how it works, short version is that the glass vibrates to produce the sound when they run their finger along it. The size, shape, and amount of water in the glass changes the sound of the note.
