The overall atmosphere on all the maps on black ops 4 was breathtaking but on the aether story side of things I feel like they shouldn’t have used the old map formats like the tag der toten map. It’s sad to see the budget also decrease because I was really hoping for an animated cutscene for the final moments we had with our characters we grew up with too. I think treyarch should keep the feeling of spookiness and breathtaking views such as IX or even the mystery box but also I feel like treyarch should get rid of the operators and bring a set zombie crew that interact and talk about the story to make ourselves feel more involved with the story
I agree, but I feel like that's probably because we're hardcore zombies fans who want to reminisce. Zombies has been an utter disgrace ever since Cold War. Unless we get something like BO4 zombies back, I don't know how Milo can continue doing anything other than this and pivoting to other games. Aint nobody gonna wanna watch Milo playing a bunch of objective based Warzone maps with Zombies in them.
I love the casual zombies videos. No insane lore talk, no insane Easter egg hunt. Just Milo playing zombies and talking about what he wants. I really really really love this milo

The maps were really cool and although I never got to play Ancient Evil, watching you, Noah and Dalek play…it’s one of my favorite looking maps and I love the story in it. I think IX is one of the best maps to ever be released. It’s aesthetically pleasing, stands out, the Easter egg was enjoyable yet difficult, and introduces a lot of fun mechanics. In terms of this video format, I think this is one of my favorite videos on the channel now. I’m a big podcast guy so being able to listen to you talk about all of this AND seeing the gameplay as a complete product was really well done. Please do more!
IX is so dissappointing, they used the colosseum and barely actually used it, you get a tiny room upstairs, the temples and then everything else is underground -the boss room, setting was wasted so badly
I really wish Treyarch were able to do what they originally wanted to do with BO4 zombies, but they had to take over Sledgehammer’s 2020 cod spot since their game wasn’t ready. Treyarch has been getting screwed a lot.
I really hope because they haven’t put much into what they were forced into for Vanguard and MW3 (2023) that CoD 2024 zombies is Top 3 because they’ve basically had 4 years, even though 2 of them had like 5 people off to the side making Vanguard and MW3

@@TacoFusionsort of. They’ve had a lot of time but they’ve also had to pull teams of people away from their game to work on others. They’ve had to work on every game since Cold War. Vanguard they had to do zombies for, MW2 they did the ranked for and MW3 they had to do the zombies for so yea they’ve had some time but they’ve also been interrupted at every turn. They’ve been the most reliable developer so activision always makes them work on other stuff when they should be able to just 100% focus on their own game
@@jeremyroberts8822 in terms of their zombies team I’m pretty sure the B team worked on Vanguard while the main team was working on their future title and I’m assuming the same team that worked on Vangaurd is probably doing mw3 because I doubt Activision would want to take their main focus off of zombies.
I mean BO4 zombies has always been a masterpiece, the problem was it got rushed out before they could fix the bugs and crash issues. Game was not stable, so if we lived in the world where it was stable then it might've been better than BO3.
My biggest fear with future Treyarch Zombie titles is that not only is it going to be on the IW 8.0 Engine (MW19 engine), is that now with MWZ they have combined and intertwined the dark aether story with COD Campaign. The issue I see with this is that now Dark Aether has to be aligned with campaign's storyline. It worries me because it will limit the creativity and the art direction that zombies will go through in the future.
They don’t have to do Dark Aether for their own games now though, so maybe it limits Dark Aether but if they wanted to abandon that and go back to its roots more, then that would be a big plus for me instead of a minus.

me and my buddy did every easter egg in bo4 over the summer for the first time and it was one of my favorite gaming experiences, massively underrated imo
@@TeddyRicketson you both need helion salvo upgraded and get hommonculus and crackens and we used some elixirs like ammos and insta kills, just make sure you and your buddy take turns throwing hommonculus and watch for the que from the boss the light it up with the salvo, it took a few attempts for us but youll get it. we also both had the staff of ra and if someone goes down you revive with the staff and they keep perks, you can also plant the staff down and if you go down it doesnt matter because the staff will revive you with your perks
i did literally the same thing with a Buddy. To platinum this game was the best game experience I've ever had with any game. BO 4 is certainly not perfect but for me the best game out there.

@@thereesebonneau XI is an awesome map, it's the most fun tho I would say..Dead of the Night is the second best, then voyage(where else can you play on the titanic), ancient evil is good too..I would recommend you to start with XI...bo4 is so good, I've bought it a second time just to get all achievements once again..
I honestly think it would be cool if they made a dedicated zombies game that received updates based on the active COD game. Imagine a persistent game, where we receive new maps and story throughout the year and the devs aren't pulled in 30 directions. It is so frustrating that Zombies always feels like an afterthought rather than a priority nowadays.
I think anything that isn't Warzone is just an after thought to Activision. I heard MP fans have been getting shafted, as well. Honestly, how much work do they really even put into Warzone? From the outside looking in, it doesn't look like it's changing apart from getting new maps. It's not like Fortnite.

Imo they should definitely continue the chaos storyline, weather that is by merging the stories or just going back. I would love to see what they can do with the potential settings for chaos maps

Just because Blundell is gone doesn’t mean that they can’t go back to the story, I get what you mean though, and it’s definitely unlikely. I really just hope their next game can have a decent story, and not just throw all that out the window for gameplay, like Cold War did

My favorite memory of BO4, is playing a match of Tag Der Toten with randoms, with one of them talking to his girlfriend on the mic the entire match. Eventually, he needed us to cover the zombie so he could use the bathroom. The other guy hopped on mic to say sure, and I just let the zombie chase me. His girlfriend took the controller just in case, and the new round started. She downed, but I just made sure that I could do my best to save them, and he came back a lil mad, but he got his perks again and whatever. Eventually, I had a thought. I never completed the Tag easter egg, and I always did easter eggs with people where I was the only person that knew the steps. So I started doing the steps sometime in the 20's. Eventually, I got on the mic and asked if they wanted to do the easter egg, and they said sure. Whenever I needed them to do something, they'd do it. We ended up doing the final step on something stupid like round 39, but since I didn't even finish the video walk through, and they had no idea what was going on, we ended up losing that game. They just thought it was fun that the entire map went red and they had no idea what I had done. Some comradery with some random people. In a general sense, Black Ops 3 is where most of the people I used to play with stopped playing. Whether that be the games fault or just life choices of theirs, the game as it stands still created memories and moments I can't get anywhere else. I've been with it since World at War where Der Riese pack a punch was such new feature, and seeing it grow into what it is now is kinda disheartening, but I also understand that somethings aren't entirely in the control of the devs. I can be sad for the direction that zombies has gone to, but at the end of the day I don't get on as much as I used to either. I'll slip on the occasional Black Ops 3 Origins, or ask my cousin who has cold war to hop on, but now I just relegate it to something I have fondness over. I don't play BO4, but I also don't play Black Ops or BO2 either. Just BO3 and Cold War. I might give BO4 another chance here soon, because I only played Voyage once, and hated it. Don't remember anything from Alpha Omega at all, and remember trying to do the Blood of the Dead easter egg only once. The appeal never got me, and I did not enjoy any of the Chaos maps. Whenever I see the map with the oracle on tier lists as something better than other maps, I get confused. It never made sense to me, but that's just one man's opinion.
I’ve been playing BO4 a lot lately trying to grind 100% challenges and honestly I can say I enjoy every map. After learning the BO4 system properly it’s honestly quite fun
I don't know why it got/gets so much hate, The chaos story was great with every map being great imo, there isn't mutch I would change other than replacing the eather story with more chaos maps and therefore giving the ending to the Eather story it's own game. Alot of the complaints I hear about Bo4 happen in previous games but people seem to overlook them

@@Rowan_0161 people also complain about the chaos crew, but... well, what do you expect from a crew that barely got time to develop before it got axed? every main crew had their quirks emphasized in the first couple maps while getting fleshed out later on. IMO the entire chaos crew did have potential, and actually did improve in ancient evil. i particularly found bruno to be more interesting than first impressions suggest. the gentle giant is a rather trite and boring archetype in my eyes, so i was fascinated by bruno having a hidden violent side, and that he deliberately cultivates the gentle giant persona to repress his true brutal personality. as a result, you get one line where he somberly reflects on how violence gets glorified in history, then another line where he bellows out visceral threats to the zombies
@@Underworlder5 I completely agree, all of them are so interesting imo and feel important to the story, in the aether I felt that Richtofen was the only important character and the others were side characters, that's not me bashing it as I love them but like you said we went from no story in WAW to a new cast with little story or idea where they were going with in Bo1 to developed characters in Bo2 - Bo3, the cast of BO4 had a task set out that all 4 were Passionate about, the development between maps imo was good with them being strangers in Voyage to freinds in AE, I also love how it's a Cult and that bruno is unaware and unwillingly a part of it, it gets to a point where he is trying to fight it but can't
BO4 Chaos story was my intro to zombies. I gotta say, still my favourite (despite the crazy number of EE steps sometimes). So very very sad they didn't continue the story.

Mate I still remember when WaW was coming out and they released the zombies trailer as the bonus mode, I was 16 when that came out, and seeing the first dlc for it as well Verukkt, people going wild over what the writing on the wall meant and the noises, who is this Sam person the zombies scream. I'm 31 now
Personally when Bo4 came out I played it very casually, never truly got into it. But now 5 years later it's honestly the main zombies game I play. The updates really helped and I'm actively attempting to complete all the Easter eggs which have proven to be interesting and the right amount of difficult, expect classified haha. At least it doesn't crash anymore when attempting the Easter egg though
My favorite memory in Bo4 Zombies isn’t made yet, it involves “Beating the Blood of The Dead Easter Egg” solo and Co-Op with Friends. I guess I may be able to plant that Memory when I’m 80 years old..
Clicked on a MrRoflWaffles video for some fun zombies, ended up getting an existential crisis within the first 4 minutes, then started pondering the smells of each zombie room. Maybe a future video for the zombies drought? Love you Milo!

Black ops 4 is such a great game! The issues, even after all these years, are the perk system, the fact that you spawn in with specialist instead of having map specific specialist, and the equipment system that only allows you to have 1 type. Wish the reception would have been different at the time, I hate where they went after this game with Cold War. Great video!
During your beginning comments about Black Ops 3 being 8 years old and Black Ops 4 being 5 years old, you mentioned that you feel the "time going by faster" thing. I heard the phenomenon described and explained as "A single year feels like it drags on forever for a 10 year old because it is 1/10th of their life. Meanwhile, a year to an 80 year old is only 1/80th of their life, so of course it feels like a very short amount of time."

9 is one of those maps that mw should take notes on. Very good intro map for bo4. It’s r ound base but has many challenges, makes for a good training map and it’s designed very well having closed/ dark spaces and wide open/ lighted areas. It’s a bit easy but a fun map to go high rounds with.
Thinking of the zombies mode and the youtube community of it. It has a sweetbitter taste. You Milo and other zombies youtubers have been accompanying me through my teenage days and it's just beautiful to witness that we're growing older and can look back on so much. It's been hell of an adventure thus far. Nice to see how each and everyone has made their way through life but still enjoying zombies all together.

Im a huge zombies fan and I found with vanguard and mw3 the zombies world ended up not zombies. Fun in their own ways but I love the Easter eggs and play feel of bo2 and bo3. Bo4 was kind of the last zombies game that still had that tradition feel to it.

Fr. During Bo4's life cycle was possible the worst time as a zombies fan. (Besides Right Now) The game was buggy and broken, The story was a mess, The game had weird/bad gameplay decisions, and the game was just piss easy. As someone who was very active in the community during that time, It baffles me that people can come onto here and claim that BO4 "Didn't deserve the hate" or "It was overhated"

i was IN LOVE with that mansion map, i know it wasnt top 5 maps or anything but i loved the celebs in it and it was pretty fun. all these maps were just good goofy fun BUT not the best

The problem with chaos is that they introduced it in the worst way imaginable. They started the storyline at the same time the aether story was still going on. Aether should have been all their attention or left it behind in bo3. Chaos didn't have any time to shine because it was a battle between the aether fan base vs the chaos fan base. Since chaos got so much hate they dropped it.
It's been a few years since I last saw your content, and I barely recognized you! Btw highly relatable about the time aspect changing as you get older. Days, weeks and months fly just by. Its scary as hell
not gonna lie the aesteatics of bo4 zombies was top tier. Each map felt like you were brought into an amazing new world. Its too bad most of the accomplishments they made were overshadowed by the flop they did with perk system and the core gameplay feel of the maps.
Man I think IX is my favorite zombies map ever. It's just got so much personality plus one of the first I ever truly played. I found out on my own how to cut the banner for challenges, but when one mentioned something about the "Death of Orion" I had to google what it was to find out how to accomplish the banner challenge. And you will never guess whose video I click on to find out how to get it. Such a nostagiac moment for me on here, I log in probably once a year to clear the Easter Egg again. I love this style of video, it feels like Faze Jev. Where the video is just super chill, your playing the thing you enjoy and your just talking over it about things either going on currently or things in the past of Cod (specifically zombies)
2:20 when you start to mention that days start to rush past you - as you get older each day/month/year will be a smaller portion of your life that you've already lived. A kid turning 10 will be significant since that year represents 1/10 of their life, but someone turning 50 won't be since that 50th year will only represent 1/50 of their life. It's crazy to think about like that but just a reminder to try and savor all the days you have now
I always liked BO4(even the zombies) and when everyone else disliked it I kinda got sad Also something else that’s mind boggling. Cold War came out 3 years ago this year!
Honestly, I loved this video as a nice casual way to really look back at what we had. Especially with the recent entries, it's been kinda hard trying to remember why I'm still in love with the Zombies franchise aside from the good memories I've had with it. But going back to appreciate the good in a game that was admittedly very controversial fills me with that loving feeling for the franchise that the recent stuff definitely hasn't brought me.

Me and my buddy follow all your ee guides. Last year at this time we did all black ops 3 for the rk5 reward and recently we started doing bo4. My favourite memory of bo4 was a month ago when we finally beat voyage. That map was so frustrating but it was amazing when we beat it.
I cannot believe BO3 is nearly a decade old. Obviously the community was peak back then, but beyond that. BO3 was beautiful, SOE is still the best looking map EVER imo. Just crazy man
Origins, mob of the dead and buried are 10 years old. Die rise is almost 11 years old after this December…..how time flies. And I still play all of these maps on a regular basis, mostly mob of the dead.

Honestly I liked BO4 zombies because it felt way more accessible and replayable than the old zombies. Old zombies just felt overly challenging on certain maps to the point it was hard getting past even round ten. On the other hand, Cold War made zombies way too easy in my opinion. I think BO4 zombies hit that sweet spot where it didn’t feel like you were going to die within the first two rounds but also it was challenging enough that you didn’t get bored and were constantly on the edge of your seat.
I was talking to my grandpa about time going by faster and faster every year. I asked him if it ever hits a point where it sorta evens out and stops feeling like time just keeps speeding up. He said "Nope, it just keeps getting worse". Scares the shit out of me.
this format is really good at creating more personal and down-to-earth content which i love, especially from a much larger channel like this. it creates a much better connection compared to some other channels that just blast typical youtuber jargon down our throats, and it shows that you actually care about your audience. id love to see this style again!

Voyage of Despair really soured my opinion of Black Ops 4. And I was butthurt about the loss of Jugg and the new HUD. But Coming back to the game and playing especially IX and Ancient Evil, I really had a blast playing B04, so much that I regret ever trashing on the game.

I really wish Treyarch were able to do what they originally wanted to do with BO4 zombies, but they had to take over Sledgehammer’s 2020 cod spot since their game wasn’t ready. Treyarch has been getting screwed a lot.
I really hope because they haven’t put much into what they were forced into for Vanguard and MW3 (2023) that CoD 2024 zombies is Top 3 because they’ve basically had 4 years, even though 2 of them had like 5 people off to the side making Vanguard and MW3

Vanguard they had to do zombies for, MW2 they did the ranked for and MW3 they had to do the zombies for so yea they’ve had some time but they’ve also been interrupted at every turn. They’ve been the most reliable developer so activision always makes them work on other stuff when they should be able to just 100% focus on their own game
@@jeremyroberts8822 in terms of their zombies team I’m pretty sure the B team worked on Vanguard while the main team was working on their future title and I’m assuming the same team that worked on Vangaurd is probably doing mw3 because I doubt Activision would want to take their main focus off of zombies.
Honestly, the new zombies mode makes BO4 look like a masterpiece and I love every piece of it.
I mean BO4 zombies has always been a masterpiece, the problem was it got rushed out before they could fix the bugs and crash issues. Game was not stable, so if we lived in the world where it was stable then it might've been better than BO3.

My biggest fear with future Treyarch Zombie titles is that not only is it going to be on the IW 8.0 Engine (MW19 engine), is that now with MWZ they have combined and intertwined the dark aether story with COD Campaign. The issue I see with this is that now Dark Aether has to be aligned with campaign's storyline. It worries me because it will limit the creativity and the art direction that zombies will go through in the future.
They don’t have to do Dark Aether for their own games now though, so maybe it limits Dark Aether but if they wanted to abandon that and go back to its roots more, then that would be a big plus for me instead of a minus.

me and my buddy did every easter egg in bo4 over the summer for the first time and it was one of my favorite gaming experiences, massively underrated imo
how did yall handle Voyage of Despair boss fight with 2 people? Been brutal for me and my buddy
@@TeddyRicketson you both need helion salvo upgraded and get hommonculus and crackens and we used some elixirs like ammos and insta kills, just make sure you and your buddy take turns throwing hommonculus and watch for the que from the boss the light it up with the salvo, it took a few attempts for us but youll get it. we also both had the staff of ra and if someone goes down you revive with the staff and they keep perks, you can also plant the staff down and if you go down it doesnt matter because the staff will revive you with your perks
i did literally the same thing with a Buddy. To platinum this game was the best game experience I've ever had with any game. BO 4 is certainly not perfect but for me the best game out there.

I honestly think it would be cool if they made a dedicated zombies game that received updates based on the active COD game. Imagine a persistent game, where we receive new maps and story throughout the year and the devs aren't pulled in 30 directions. It is so frustrating that Zombies always feels like an afterthought rather than a priority nowadays.
I think anything that isn't Warzone is just an after thought to Activision. I heard MP fans have been getting shafted, as well.
Honestly, how much work do they really even put into Warzone? From the outside looking in, it doesn't look like it's changing apart from getting new maps. It's not like Fortnite.

My favorite memory of BO4, is playing a match of Tag Der Toten with randoms, with one of them talking to his girlfriend on the mic the entire match. Eventually, he needed us to cover the zombie so he could use the bathroom. The other guy hopped on mic to say sure, and I just let the zombie chase me. His girlfriend took the controller just in case, and the new round started. She downed, but I just made sure that I could do my best to save them, and he came back a lil mad, but he got his perks again and whatever. Eventually, I had a thought. I never completed the Tag easter egg, and I always did easter eggs with people where I was the only person that knew the steps. So I started doing the steps sometime in the 20's. Eventually, I got on the mic and asked if they wanted to do the easter egg, and they said sure. Whenever I needed them to do something, they'd do it. We ended up doing the final step on something stupid like round 39, but since I didn't even finish the video walk through, and they had no idea what was going on, we ended up losing that game. They just thought it was fun that the entire map went red and they had no idea what I had done. Some comradery with some random people. In a general sense, Black Ops 3 is where most of the people I used to play with stopped playing. Whether that be the games fault or just life choices of theirs, the game as it stands still created memories and moments I can't get anywhere else. I've been with it since World at War where Der Riese pack a punch was such new feature, and seeing it grow into what it is now is kinda disheartening, but I also understand that somethings aren't entirely in the control of the devs. I can be sad for the direction that zombies has gone to, but at the end of the day I don't get on as much as I used to either. I'll slip on the occasional Black Ops 3 Origins, or ask my cousin who has cold war to hop on, but now I just relegate it to something I have fondness over. I don't play BO4, but I also don't play Black Ops or BO2 either. Just BO3 and Cold War. I might give BO4 another chance here soon, because I only played Voyage once, and hated it. Don't remember anything from Alpha Omega at all, and remember trying to do the Blood of the Dead easter egg only once. The appeal never got me, and I did not enjoy any of the Chaos maps. Whenever I see the map with the oracle on tier lists as something better than other maps, I get confused. It never made sense to me, but that's just one man's opinion.

I’ve been playing BO4 a lot lately trying to grind 100% challenges and honestly I can say I enjoy every map. After learning the BO4 system properly it’s honestly quite fun

I don't know why it got/gets so much hate, The chaos story was great with every map being great imo, there isn't mutch I would change other than replacing the eather story with more chaos maps and therefore giving the ending to the Eather story it's own game.

@@Rowan_0161 people also complain about the chaos crew, but... well, what do you expect from a crew that barely got time to develop before it got axed? every main crew had their quirks emphasized in the first couple maps while getting fleshed out later on. IMO the entire chaos crew did have potential, and actually did improve in ancient evil. i particularly found bruno to be more interesting than first impressions suggest. the gentle giant is a rather trite and boring archetype in my eyes, so i was fascinated by bruno having a hidden violent side, and that he deliberately cultivates the gentle giant persona to repress his true brutal personality. as a result, you get one line where he somberly reflects on how violence gets glorified in history, then another line where he bellows out visceral threats to the zombies
@@Underworlder5 I completely agree, all of them are so interesting imo and feel important to the story, in the aether I felt that Richtofen was the only important character and the others were side characters, that's not me bashing it as I love them but like you said we went from no story in WAW to a new cast with little story or idea where they were going with in Bo1 to developed characters in Bo2 - Bo3, the cast of BO4 had a task set out that all 4 were Passionate about, the development between maps imo was good with them being strangers in Voyage to freinds in AE, I also love how it's a Cult and that bruno is unaware and unwillingly a part of it, it gets to a point where he is trying to fight it but can't
BO4 Chaos story was my intro to zombies. I gotta say, still my favourite (despite the crazy number of EE steps sometimes). So very very sad they didn't continue the story.

Mate I still remember when WaW was coming out and they released the zombies trailer as the bonus mode, I was 16 when that came out, and seeing the first dlc for it as well Verukkt, people going wild over what the writing on the wall meant and the noises, who is this Sam person the zombies scream. Personally when Bo4 came out I played it very casually, never truly got into it. But now 5 years later it's honestly the main zombies game I play. The updates really helped and I'm actively attempting to complete all the Easter eggs which have proven to be interesting and the right amount of difficult, expect classified haha. At least it doesn't crash anymore when attempting the Easter egg though
My favorite memory in Bo4 Zombies isn’t made yet, it involves “Beating the Blood of The Dead Easter Egg” solo and Co-Op with Friends. I guess I may be able to plant that Memory when I’m 80 years old..
You say Cold War was Facility based, but an interesting point to consider is Nacht was the only non facility map up until TranZit.
Clicked on a MrRoflWaffles video for some fun zombies, ended up getting an existential crisis within the first 4 minutes, then started pondering the smells of each zombie room. Maybe a future video for the zombies drought? Love you Milo!

The issues, even after all these years, are the perk system, the fact that you spawn in with specialist instead of having map specific specialist, and the equipment system that only allows you to have 1 type.
Wish the reception would have been different at the time, I hate where they went after this game with Cold War.

During your beginning comments about Black Ops 3 being 8 years old and Black Ops 4 being 5 years old, you mentioned that you feel the "time going by faster" thing. I heard the phenomenon described and explained as "A single year feels like it drags on forever for a 10 year old because it is 1/10th of their life. Meanwhile, a year to an 80 year old is only 1/80th of their life, so of course it feels like a very short amount of time."

9 is one of those maps that mw should take notes on. Very good intro map for bo4. It’s r ound base but has many challenges, makes for a good training map and it’s designed very well having closed/ dark spaces and wide open/ lighted areas. It’s a bit easy but a fun map to go high rounds with.
My favorite memory of BO4 was just talking about it with my friends and wishing to play it
Thinking of the zombies mode and the youtube community of it. It has a sweetbitter taste. You Milo and other zombies youtubers have been accompanying me through my teenage days and it's just beautiful to witness that we're growing older and can look back on so much. It's been hell of an adventure thus far. Nice to see how each and everyone has made their way through life but still enjoying zombies all together.

Im a huge zombies fan and I found with vanguard and mw3 the zombies world ended up not zombies. Fun in their own ways but I love the Easter eggs and play feel of bo2 and bo3. Bo4 was kind of the last zombies game that still had that tradition feel to it.

Fr. During Bo4's life cycle was possible the worst time as a zombies fan. (Besides Right Now) The game was buggy and broken, The story was a mess, The game had weird/bad gameplay decisions, and the game was just piss easy. As someone who was very active in the community during that time, It baffles me that people can come onto here and claim that BO4 "Didn't deserve the hate" or "It was overhated"

BO4 is actually harder than BO3, talking from experience since WaW. The Chaos story was literally amazing, the gameplay was really fun and it got the right innovation without killing the core gameplay of the mode. It wasn’t BO4 that killed the community, it was the community that killed an objective good zombie experience because they were following yourubers hearsay. Remember, that trashy ass dark aether story, along with that soulless boring Cold War zombie, was your fault.
I was around and loved it and i was right i mean lock at cold war now the game still does not work to this day crashes all the time, game mechanics are trash, maps are trash, wonderweapons are trash. Even bo3 crashes more often noverdays than bo4 that's a joke. Btw everthing after cold war doesn't count for me anymore it's trash cold war was the last good zombies we got and most likely will ever be even bo6 does not lock to great, i mean who thought gobblegums were a good idea to bring back that's so stupid. The problem with chaos is that they introduced it in the worst way imaginable. They started the storyline at the same time the aether story was still going on. Aether should have been all their attention or left it behind in bo3. Chaos didn't have any time to shine because it was a battle between the aether fan base vs the chaos fan base. Since chaos got so much hate they dropped it.
Yeah... That was definitely poor management on their part.

Man I think IX is my favorite zombies map ever. It's just got so much personality plus one of the first I ever truly played. I found out on my own how to cut the banner for challenges, but when one mentioned something about the "Death of Orion" I had to google what it was to find out how to accomplish the banner challenge. And you will never guess whose video I click on to find out how to get it. Such a nostagiac moment for me on here, I log in probably once a year to clear the Easter Egg again. Love the vids and love you forever Milo! Here's to hoping this year of zombies is free banger content for your channel!

2:20 when you start to mention that days start to rush past you - as you get older each day/month/year will be a smaller portion of your life that you've already lived. A kid turning 10 will be significant since that year represents 1/10 of their life, but someone turning 50 won't be since that 50th year will only represent 1/50 of their life. It's crazy to think about like that but just a reminder to try and savor all the days you have now

Honestly, I loved this video as a nice casual way to really look back at what we had. Especially with the recent entries, it's been kinda hard trying to remember why I'm still in love with the Zombies franchise aside from the good memories I've had with it. But going back to appreciate the good in a game that was admittedly very controversial fills me with that loving feeling for the franchise that the recent stuff definitely hasn't brought me.

Me and my buddy follow all your ee guides. Last year at this time we did all black ops 3 for the rk5 reward and recently we started doing bo4. My favourite memory of bo4 was a month ago when we finally beat voyage. That map was so frustrating but it was amazing when we beat it.
I cannot believe BO3 is nearly a decade old. Obviously the community was peak back then, but beyond that. BO3 was beautiful, SOE is still the best looking map EVER imo. Just crazy man
Origins, mob of the dead and buried are 10 years old. Die rise is almost 11 years old after this December…..how time flies. And I still play all of these maps on a regular basis, mostly mob of the dead.

Honestly I liked BO4 zombies because it felt way more accessible and replayable than the old zombies. Old zombies just felt overly challenging on certain maps to the point it was hard getting past even round ten. On the other hand, Cold War made zombies way too easy in my opinion. I think BO4 zombies hit that sweet spot where it didn’t feel like you were going to die within the first two rounds but also it was challenging enough that you didn’t get bored and were constantly on the edge of your seat.
I was talking to my grandpa about time going by faster and faster every year. I asked him if it ever hits a point where it sorta evens out and stops feeling like time just keeps speeding up. He said "Nope, it just keeps getting worse". Scares the shit out of me.
That’s how I feel about world at war. I realized it came out 15 years ago and that means I’ve been playing zombies for over half my life.
I loved bo4 zombies, easter eggs were all possible solo and when cold warcame out it really shined.

this format is really good at creating more personal and down-to-earth content which i love, especially from a much larger channel like this. it creates a much better connection compared to some other channels that just blast typical youtuber jargon down our throats, and it shows that you actually care about your audience. id love to see this style again!

Voyage of Despair really soured my opinion of Black Ops 4. And I was butthurt about the loss of Jugg and the new HUD. But Coming back to the game and playing especially IX and Ancient Evil, I really had a blast playing B04, so much that I regret ever trashing on the game.
