  • @jerzywoking1699
    @jerzywoking1699 3 года назад +5

    Trust me, if HMRC were going to arrest you for criminal tax activity, you would only know when they turn up at your house front door or businesses premises with a warrant (which has to be applied for through court after giving the reasons why they want to execute an arrest, and this application can be refused), or under PACE powers which are specific. HMRC have powers of arrest, and do not have to have the police there to do so. Police often accompany to stop potential breaches of the peace.
    Anything concerning civil action HMRC are considering taking will be dealt with by post.
    Just be aware of these facts and never concern your self with these scamming bastards.

    Excellent job :) . I am doing the same for the last few years. I am recording conversations and collect details (what are their new tactics). Like you I am giving false details : Hans Gruber, home address is a Police station in London, NIN, UTR (depends what the scam is in progress) and for them everything is ok (looks legit). This video, as well my experience shows how small brains they have if they mix procedures, descriptions, cautions which are valid on particular territory (as it was written earlier) - "bond" is an agreement between warrant institution and suspect (usually lawyer company/bounty hunter's company etc.). In the UK this type of warranty does not exist. Wasting their time has a good side : they do not scam other potential victim at the same time (especially elderly are targeted).

    But don't these prats know. That HMRC don't ever call. If they have a problem. Point 1.They write. Point two. Then send out a court summons if it ever goes that far. I've had loads of these calls. I just shut it off by not saying anything. Just hang up. Then block the number.
