Honestly, it’s not that 4th Gen idols can’t sing, it’s that they’re not really allowed to by networks/companies. The standards are so different now. I’ve seen several dance practices where idols sing over top of the background music clearly. I think they’re called live dance practices? I wish we could go back to this type of performance. MCND and mamamoo are 2 groups I can think of off the top of my head that do this type of dance practice but there are definitely more.
