my gf and i started in the front row, right in front of greep. we survived the first two songs but it was too much to handle for a whole show considering how small of a little boy i am and the fact i didn’t want anyone slamming into her (even though she honestly is stronger than me). the 953 wave was unlike anything i have ever felt though, i have a recording of the beginning of the song and you can very much see the wave pummel me into ending the video lol. it was sick though.
I’m glad I got to see this in person. One gentleman in the comments perfectly summarized the elated feeling of attending this by saying that nothing cooler on the planet could have been happening at that moment. Looking back now I would have to agree with that statement. It was unreal.
Saw them at Cambridge Junction last night - it was so loud every instrument sounded totally distorted and the vocals were inaudible. A great, visceral gig - but nice to now watch this and hear what it *should* have sounded like!

A few things from this show: There were three guys in evangelion costumes, 2 Reis and 1 Asuka, and before the show they were playing the beginning of episode 9 (dance like you want to win) on the projector. I was outside when they came out onto the street and the first thing I heard them say was "that was a good gig!" and I heard Kaidi say to Geordie "you jumped off the kick drum!" though I hadn't actually seen that (send me a timestamp if you do please)

Wish I could have gone to one of these shows in the south/east, I went to their Pioneertown gig in Joshua Tree and the energy of that show does not compare to this one
