This was cool to watch. I quit Nuclear Throne (and video games altogether) after you demolished the any% record; I figured the record was untouchable at that point. Cool to see such a great game still getting the showcase it deserves.
I recommend just ignoring him for the beginning of the fight, and clear out the other enemies until you have a nice area to fight him. Just keep moving
I never got to play this game much, but I always liked playing as Melted (Melting?). Easily the squishiest character, but his ability to blow up enemy corpses was very satisfying.
EYES oh yeah he was my main when i played this game a lot. loop 10 looks incredible, never quite made it that far. got to like loop 5 and 6 a few times
it's a shooter, basically. You can consider it a top-down, somewhat random map, very high difficulty, one life, version of serious sam, doom and other fps games, with just a little bit of rpg thrown in.
I wouldn't say it's Isaac, Our Darker Purpose is an Isaac Like Game, this one is more of a Smash TV/Robotron with a hefty dose of Bullet Hell, if you like those games you are going to like Nuclear Throne

most of them are post-loop, which means you can only fight them if you loop the game at least once

The fact that his corpse explosions destroy enemy projectiles makes it sooo worth it though >:D
These guys are so pro that i can even don't see the shots that was confusing in loop 10 and loop 10 was literal hell
