Hi mr. Taylor, new subscriber here, to turn on the light you don’t need to hit on the glass, everywhere you hit twice will turn on the light, even the band
I just saw these for sale at TJ Maxx for 299 Canadian is there any idea how much longer the software would be supported on this because I had a Fitbit and I bought the blaze near the end of its life cycle and after that when the update stopped, it was just terrible it ground to a halt
Thanks for your info. You are right that most smart watches use the quick release mechanism however I can't find such information anywhere. The quick-release pin is usually visible but can't find a picture showing that. Now the green band one is on sale but don't like green that much.
At this point in the development of pedometers and activity trackers, I'd say there all pretty accurate +/- 5%. But no, I didn't wear a few devices and compare them, partially because I don't know which would then be correct.
I received mine last week and I really like it, easy to understand and compare to some of my regular watches (invicta automatics) it’s a good price $296 with 15% off from citizen store
@@jofus9861 no, only on the smart wear OS you can change them, right now the full smart citizen wear OS is on special $295 at the citizen store, I’m ordering one
@@jofus9861 the bands on the hybrid are kind of like the G shock, but the G shock won’t make your wrist stink, hybrid citizen does, so that’s another -1 for the hybrid to consider
Double click the middle button you’ll see settings icon don’t click on it scroll to the right you’ll se hue light control hahaha what is the hue light anyways lol
Why do you need to power it off? Also, check this for more details on watch functionality: support.citizenwatch.com/hc/en-us/categories/360004799534-CZ-Smartwatch-Wear-OS
@@AskDaveTaylor Because of another major flaw in this watch: It does not count stairs climbed converted into floors. I will wear a stair reader (every other fitness watch I have ever seen) if I am doing a lot of stairs that day/week. The watch, when not worn, will emit a vibration every 15 minutes, which can be a problem if I set it on my nightstand. Otherwise it is great.
Same system as the fossil HR hybrid watches the Bessel is great worth the price awesome watch nothing special just the hybrid part and customization of watch is fun

Nice vid, if you could have zoomed closer into the watch as you spoke, it would be better.
Great looking watch, nothing like it in the smartwatch market. 15 day battery life is amazing. Easy to use and great fitness features.
There is the fossil hybrid HR
And the Skagen hybrid HR
Hello, would you show me how to reset the watch to factory setting?
wonder why it does so little & limited faces . Perhaps if the bezel can be removable for different time zone ,adding more function .
Hi Dave, thanks for great review, seem like it's not come with touch screen.... you have to used the knobs to do all the selections....?
Thanks Dave

Thank you for the knowledge man! Great review
Is it easy to change the bands? Is it a easy-change type?
I didn't try changing the band so cannot definitively answer, but nowadays most watches have a quick-release band mechanism.

What app is being used now. Citizen connected seems to not be available anymore
Not sure. I'd reach out to Citizen customer service to get an update. Please let us know what you find out!
Thanks for a great review, Dave. It looks like the hands and 4 points on the watch face might have lume to glow in the dark - do they?
Did you check how accurate are the step counter and the other monitors?

Hello teacher how do you power off it?
Why would you want to power it off?
@@AskDaveTaylor I'm with you on that. Why the need to power off? It holds a 15 day charge, no need to power off.
Bought this watch and cannot figure how to power off. Any advice?

Interesting. Do you really go up and down that many stairs in a given day?
Can you buy different straps if you can send me a link please
It's a standard watchband so yes, you should be able to buy a new strap from just about any watch or jewelry shop.
How can I rest the watch
@@jamutsayyuh1305 Exactly how do you power off it?
This is exactly what I'm looking for! I have a smart watch and only use it for time and notifications. But hate the look of the fake faces!
it is a fossil hybrid hr underneath. and the fossils suffer from fogging up. so be aware
jared has it for 175 today
According to the manufacturer. The watch is only splash/sweat proof. Not water resistant or suitable for swimming
Correct. 30ATM is dangerous to even wash your hands with
Looks bloody good! :)

do not pay extra for a fossil hybrid hr just to have citizen written on it.
Seems like reasonable advice!
no solar
Your reviews need a little more just like the watches instructions lol
How can I reply to a text
On your phone. It's a notification device, not an interactive device that replaces your smartphone.
