Doctors will then try a few techniques to get the baby out vaginally (going from safest to most dangerous to baby and mother). If that doesn’t work, they do the Zavinelli maneuver (pushing the baby back in to do an emergency c-section). Sometimes that doesn’t work at all or will kill the mother from uterine rupture. Either way, the head can get stuck outside. When that happens, the baby usually dies. Decapitation is used to save the mother’s life. The hospital claims the baby was dead even before delivery.

I gave birth to my youngest baby at home because I no longer trust the medical community. My baby girl also had shoulder dystocia and got stuck. My midwife and her partner midwife were able to gently manipulate and deliver her. She is now thriving. My oldest son also had shoulder dystocia, and was delivered forcefully by forceps. They pulled so hard they pulled muscles in his neck, causing torticollis that required PT. I’m beyond grateful this was all that came of his delivery. My heart hurts so so bad for this family.
This happens more often that people know. Not in just child birth , but in many other surgeries as well. Ask questions, get medical records , all staff involved and a very good attorney.

The doctor has monitors snd more as well as experience to know to if she had issues to give her a C-section. Also seeing that baby shoulder stuck could have did that,made a 4 inch cut ,as been mentioned by some whom have went through this,having a baby that because their shoulder was stuck. This woman for way too long was pulling in this baby did this and went into panic mode despite her experience,knew they were young so thought she would get away with it and everyone else who covered for her.
So multiple nurses, anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists and doctors all lied to cover this up? My heart is aching for this mom.. but I have such a difficult time as a medical professional seeing how NO ONE spoke out about what they saw in that procedure room..
Apparently this is the "poor people hospital" it's in Georgia and is notorious for horrible care but bc they service a low income population nobody really cares.

I do not think they knew they could hold their baby ,grieve with him in their arms ,dress him in any outfit they had bought for him ,they had a right to do this. I pray they have family to lean on o because I have not seen them at these news conferences,so maybe even in that hospital they had know one to advocate for them .
That baby did NOT die in the womb. That baby died when that doctor did what she did. The lies and deception began immediately. Fire her trifling ass immediately. She would have had more money in her pocket IF she didnt have to do a c section thats why she was trying to pull that baby out. I pray that couple gets all the prayers and comfort from family and friends because the world is also praying for you. Sue her for millions and make sure her medical license is revoked
we have to protect our mothers and soon to be mothers this can't ever happen again please. this story is so very sad and horrific.
so if a doctor performs an abortion it is ok, even though the baby is chopped up and decapitated during an abortion. But when the mother wants to keep the baby, and it's killed STILL IN THE WOMB, it's murder? Explain that one. Seems like the only difference is the mother wants to keep it or doesn't and the fetus is only human when it suits the mother.
This is a horrible tragedy,just like an abortion is.

This is like a horror movie. That poor mama and papa oh the grief on his face when they talk about his son. You can see they don’t even know how to begin to process the grief. So many prayers to these people. To that beautiful baby’s soul. I’m so sad for them. They should be holding their son now. I hope all of these doctors go to jail for a long time.
