These days people go out in public wearing pajamas. Women walking around with pants way too tight over top their way too big backsides. Men with tank tops to show off their tattoos. What happened to us?

Everyone gained weight since all those songs promised you will have a happy life if you take bacon and coffee breakfast every mornings surrounded with all of your kids so they can get addicted to the industrial food type (the ones financing those advertisings back then). just like Coca-Cola succeeded to associate our minds with junk food = fun times or Christmas = chocolate. Let's continue to be real please : it is very hard to look ELEGANT in those outfits when you are overweight. "Pyjamas" hide ugly figures better 🤷🏻♀️

I remember waking up to this music playing downstairs from the AM radio in my grandmother's kitchen (not to mention the smell of coffee and cigarettes ❤)when I'd sleep over her house. Good music to play while cleaning the house too!
Nice video. Probably looks like some SF for the young generation. People, back then, used to LIVE Together ... (!!!) so usualy grandparents would start the fire in the stove , at the early morning hours, ..... and once we wake up, main room ( a kitchen) was warm and full of nice smells : fire, cafe, tee, pancakes, eggs and bacon, ... some cakes, soup, ... and radio was On... "*A Morning program" ... ... Those Houses were never EMPTY and old people would keep it warm and Life was there all day along. This video portrays only one nice side , but believe me there are many More not portrayed here. Mothers and grandparents would keep entire home and neighbourhood ALIVE , Clean and fully functioning. That was fully functioning living- working environment not like these days - empty , strange and lifeless LEGO- boxes, ... until 6 pm... when army of cars swarm the area and ... people disapear in their fenced compounds. Would have to get past the evil times of WWII. Thanks to God they did.. and the sparkling life continued until about the mid 60s until the evil started creeping in with hippie drugs etc.. but it didn't dominate totally. The glowing lifestyle still prevailed with most people. Murder and evil were rarely in the news. We just didn't worry about it except told not to talk to strangers.. and we rode our bikes and played around the neighborhoods without concern. Definitely miss this..❤

Ladies looked like ladies and rarely used foul language. Yes, indeed those were the days when you could leave your doors unlocked at night.
