There's something nice about getting to see Jin having some fun racing bikes and goofing around with Hwoarang. It shows a lighter side to his personality that's rarely seen, maybe a glimpse at the person he could be if he wasn't constantly wrapped up in devil/mishima drama
@@tarunjohal9215 Not really Hwoarang actually beat Jin in Tekken 5. Though Jin was struggling to keep his Devil Gene in check while fighting him. Then Jin became back in his Devil form and beat up Hwoarang badly that put him in a hospital bed.

I mean, they ARE canonical in the sense that they show more of the characters personalities. Like, maybe if Jin wasn't involved in his war, he'd probably just hang out with Hwoarang and mess with him.
Jin is a savage when Lei pulled over Hwoarang. He purposely went to normal speed when he passed by them so that Hwoarang could get in trouble. Funny guy.
So let me get this straight. Jin defeats Unknown, finds out its his mother, who disappears from his arms, he rages hard and goes Earth orbit, only for Jun to reappear again and calm him down. Jin falls back down to Earth on a beach, is pissed that his mother is dead/missing again and decides to take it out on Hworang in a street bike race. Pretty good connection lol.
Must be inspired by Albert Wesker. Though I wish Wesker was a guest character in Tekken along with the likes of Hunk, Chris, or Leon or even Billy Coen.
Before starting the motorcycle race, Hwoarang would say to Jin: "Once I win, I'm gonna sleep with your cousin Asuka Kazama!" And then Jin would smirk @Hwoarang & say: "Ha! We'll see!" And then the part where Lei Wulong pulled over Hwoarang & Jin slowly rolled by, Jin would further smirk at Hwoarang & say: "Looks like you're not gonna sleep with my cousin afterall hahahaha!!!" & then rolls off as Lei gives Hwoarang a speed ticket & Hwoarang grumps with disappointment.
I also feel that Jin & Hwoarang's relationship goes deeper than the Sasuke/Naruto thing; Hwoarang can actually bring out Jin's childishly playful side, as shown here. Jin actually goes out of his way to provoke Hwoarang first, then *slowly* rides past him & Lei to rub it in. Poor Hwoarang's gonna get it from Baek. I think Jin sees Hwoarang as a kid brother to mess around with for fun.
lol jin's bike sounds like he got jet engine power yet he ain't going faster. Nice guy jin. Or probably knew there is cop surveillance along that road alot of the time.
Brilliant move by Jin to take the ramp to beat Hworang. That moment told me that even Jin had a competitor side. He was like "I ain't losing this" and he didn't. Also (now this is just me), when Jin took the ramp, I don't think Lei's Speed Detector picked up on Jin's Speed due to his motorcycle being in the air. I think that's why Hworang got caught because obviously his motorcycle was on the road...🤔 Food for thought. Makes sense though but yeah, it's just me...
Actually in the official Tekken 3 storyline, Paul also beat Jin and that's why he was able to fight Ogre in the last round before Jin killed it when it turned into True Ogre.
Paul should've made a cameo or something. Like passing by riding on a bicycle carrying his dismantled motorcycle on his back like he did in Law's ending in Tekken 5, and then saying to Hwoarang "I know how that feels like"
@@thiaguinhoo_3690 Makes sense if you look at it that way. I thought he's Lee's replacement in terms of the rival character. The only difference is that Heihachi didn't adopt Hworang.

Lei as the highway patrol?! LMAO! He must have either gotten in trouble and demoted or Jin ordered the hong kong police to have Lei stationed over there purposely. xD
well, you're not wrong, officially the devil did attack Jun in an attempt to enter the unborn Jin, but he was defeated, and Kazuya does claim him to be his other half, but those 2 events r not relative, Harada never cared much bout the story as he admitted in the Tekken BV interview, those connections r just made by fans lol...as seen in the T3 intro the devil entered Jin much later in a forest and Unknown was originally meant to be Jun's posessed sister, and Angel an entity that helped Jun.
Paul defeated ogre that part is true, but not in the tournament, while ogre was running around looking for martial artists to absorb, (to become true ogre) he knocked out beak which is why he wasn't in T3 and attacked Jun and Paul, who defeated him.

I know right? After all, Hwoarang would easily beat jin in battle, at least in this game. It's only due to the power of the plot that he doesn't.

Yes, I see Tag universa as separate one
There are endings in TTT2 that are canon. One of them is Jaycee.

Everyone talking about how Jin trolled Hwoarang. But how could Lei, a literal police officer, not wear a helmet while chasing Hwoarang?
Actually in the official Tekken 3 storyline, Paul also beat Jin and that's why he was able to fight Ogre in the last round before Jin killed it when it turned into True Ogre.
An Hwoarang ending MUST have bikes. Always. Was true for most tekken.
Except 4. 4 was all about his rivalry with Jin

Hwoarang : FUUUUUUUUUU
Jin : U Mad Bro? *trollface*

Paul should've made a cameo or something. Like passing by riding on a bicycle carrying his dismantled motorcycle on his back like he did in Law's ending in Tekken 5, and then saying to Hwoarang "I know how that feels like"
Now Bloodline already gave this path, with Paul becoming friends with Jin (and Jin's circle like Hwoarang) due to his rivalry with Kazuya.
They forget to put in Paul Phoenix's with his Ghost rider panhead chopper
Isn't this ending similar to Paul's from T3?
Yup
But with Lei joining the scene instead of an ordinary cop
I feel like Hwo and Jin's rivalry is a throwback to Paul and Kazuya's. Since Kazuya was dead in TK3, they came to replace their rivalry

yeah, wasnt expecting that, he apparently killed his father by accident :o
As much on Tekken as I've read up I never heard anything like that. I know Paul beat Jin to Ogre but I don't recall them ever fighting each other
Is Lei the only cop in the world? Or does like everyone in the Tekken cast just hang out in Hong Kong all the time?
i think Lei's from interpol
I too have no idea why an interpol agent would be doing highway patrol stuff
