I am a naval architect student. I can tell you that it's a great profession. It's very challenging because it involves all branches of physics and mathematics, such as mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, solid mechanics, statistics, mathematics, electricty. .. It also involves naval engineering subjects such as stability, seakeeping, ship structure, hydrodynamics, and more. At the end of the studies, you really gain a deep understanding of how the world around us works, unlike some other branches of engineering that are closely related to their profession and don't know some basics of physics. Building a ship and other floating objects or offshore structures requires a lot of knowledge and learning throughout your entire life, but it is also a very interesting and fun profession and I'm glad that I decided to pursue it. This video only scratches the surface of what it's all about, but it's a very nice video. Keep up the good work!
I can't thank you enough for this amazing interview, Careersbadger. Your questions were to the point and covered anything I had in mind to ask about! As for your guests, such a good variety of the industry, thanks so for the wonderful insights Caitlin, James and James. I'm doing my first in my journey towards being a Naval Architect and it helped me a ton!
