When i was young i didn't like it too much either. The setting was overwhelming and a little dark to me for some reason(atleast that's how i have it in my memories). I liked the younger Ezio a lot more! But as i became a little older, i finally appreciated the more mature theme the game had. The words of an older and wiser Ezio finally resonated with me. I can't speak for everyone, but i'd argue many were maybe, like me, just not mature enough yet for such a game.

The intro lol. Really clean run and pretty much used almost every mechanic in the game in just under 5 min. Kinda crazy
