I JUST picked up a '57 Century 4 door hardtop. Pink over white. It's been in North Texas its whole life so is essentially rust free. This video has inspired me, and I can hardly wait to get it home and get going on it. THANK YOU for sharing this beautiful piece of history! ...and I think it's MUCH prettier than a 57 Chevy!
My grandfather had a '57 Buick Roadmaster Riviera that was painted pink. Seeing this '57 restoration really brings back some memories, he had that car until '67. I was in grade school at that time, so it was a car that I just rode in and saw. But, still, I remember seeing that big Buick and associating it with my grandparents. Also, the restoration here is beyond factory new. Your attention to detail is commendable and shows you really care about what you do. Beautiful job.
My parents had a 1957 Buick Special - all white exterior with black/white interior. One of our neighbors had a '57 Roadmaster. You could tell the difference at a glace, because the Special had 3 portholes on the front quarter panels, and the Roadmaster had 4.
My mom had a 55 special red white 2 door ht.my granpa let me sit on his lap in his green white 57 century letting me steer when i was 3 or 4.My first car was a 63 skylark convertible. Then i bought a 56 super 2door ht at an estate sale blue white 27,000 miles original owner in 74.I still have the skylark and the 56 super.
It's a beautiful car, and wonderful restoration. I'm guessing that it was originally owned by a family member of your client. Otherwise, why spend all the time and money for a rotisserie restoration for a post rather than a hardtop?
One thing I had to mention, and it's a mistake a lot of people make: On the ends of the doors on 2-tone cars the top color goes all the way down to the bottom of the door. Only the jambs are split. If you can find an original car sometime, take a look. You'll see what I mean. Technically, the car would lose points for that in very serious judging. The original trunk material was an alligator pattern, light gray, but I don't think it's available anymore. 4:00 to 4:20 on this video will show you the door jambs. ruclips.net/video/leeN0osgXUw/видео.html
Polished stainless trim, not chrome! Incorrect air cleaner and it's not a Bat-Wing! The Bat-Wing has an inlet opening on each side, hence 'Bat-Wing'. Caddy and Old's, not Biuck. The driver door window frame rear is sprung in at the top, out at the bottom and not parallel with the rear side window frame! Several other issues as well, but still a pretty nice car..

Wow nice card, best wishes from Germany
Beautiful car cool ride 😎
Beautiful restoration work, and car. I like the color.
I absolutely like these cars. I got hooked on them watching " High way Patrol" from the 1950's.
Nice of someone to put so much work, and I'm sure lots of money, into a 2-door sedan.
My favorite car along with the 54...
This car is not like new. It is way better. Beautiful example of a very good year for Buick

Watching this I’m like Homer Simpson drooling over bacon, aaarrrrrrgggggggghhhhh
Homer Simpson, " Hmmmmm, Baaacccooonnnnn!!!" Beautiful car. Now stay away from reckless drivers.
Maureen looking good for her age...speaking of age this Buick is a 57 but is it just me it looks much older ,say compared to a 57 Chevy ....
Thanks for your nice comments. We would have to agree with you, the Buick seems to look older than it really is, but we like it!

Great workmanship on the restoration !
My family had one when I was a kid, and that is definitely a '57 Buick - and its gorgeous!
a 2door sedan BOSS
As a VERY OLD GUY (66!), I HOPE YOU DO KNOW THE FRONT-ENDS OF THESE CARS WERE ALWAYS CRAP!
the intake air clean is not correct ,i have the correct one 4 barrel or two
That's true, but I think he said the owner wanted that one on there.
