- My favourite bit of the week was Joe Biden at the G7 summit in Puglia, Italy. Just as a parachuter lands in front of world leaders, US President Joe Biden was seen walking away from the group and looking in completely the wrong direction! Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni came to his rescue, helping him shuffle back.

What Starmer is not saying is, by freezing Personal Tax Allowances a government gets more tax revenue from the portion of your pay rise, as and when you get a pay rise.
