You have the best personality. Love to watch, listen and learn
Cute shakers - and really like the pencil watercoloring. Thanks Sandy!
These cards are just too stinking cute! What you said about bras was just too funny! LOL, you crack me up sometimes. Love your personality, and you are an extremely talented artist. Thank you for taking the time to share with us.
These are so very cute. I love making shaker cards. And my great grandkids love receiving them too. Love the peek a boo dies. Thanks for sharing.
Stocking stuffers! My husband said no more craft supplies for gifts from him and my grown children are hit and miss, sometimes they follow lists, sometimes they do their own thing!! It’s ok though, what husband doesn’t realize is that I’ll just get them myself and I am a full set syndrome girl!!! He will learn!! Bwahahaha
lol
Love the idea of peekaboo windows, Sandy! Thank you for creating these adorable cards with the Christmas puppies stamps.
I have the wooden box full set of the Neocolor crayons, now I need the pencils - thanks Sandy! Geez. lol I’ve been looking but the price is a bit much. I just started with Copics and I bought a lot. My birthday is in less than two weeks so I might get them so I can be done. I’m hoping to sit on my deck and watercolor this summer. I love your videos but, I spend a lot watching you. lol Not to mention, your classes I want to take. My heart is set in the entire collection of Daniel Smith crayons, now that’s expensive. I’m addicted to Daniel Smith watercolor everything.
These are unbelievably cute.
These are so cute! I agree with buying good quality products (and bras). ;) It's true for so many different types of products and I find they usually last longer and work better so in the end I got to enjoy something better made and saved money in the long run. :)
Super cute sandy!!
Very adorable love it. Watching you is very relaxing. Thank yiu
Too cute, thank you for the tide bit in putting foam tape around the circle for a shaker.love the cards
Awwww,soooo super cute Sandy.
So STINKING CUTE Sandy. Simply adorable and Merry Christmas to you as well!
very cute cards. Thank you
I bought the 1/2" roll of 3M tape just the other day on Amazon. If you're still looking for some.
What a fun idea! I haven’t done a shaker card in ages...guess I better make one soon. I love watching your watercolor pencil videos. Using them is an art I have yet to master. But, I keep on trying! So thanks for the good tips😊
A trick to window cards.....I cut the die from the 3 x 5 card and label it. Then I can put the window (the negative open area) over the image to see if I colored enough of my image. I do this to many dies, so I laminate all the 3x5 cards and punch a hole in the corner and put them on ring binder clip
nice
Super sweet! Thanks for sharing!
I was curious about the foam tape, since you can still get the 1/2" width on Amazon, which is where I typically get mine. I don't know if it's just that they still have some in stock or what, but I'll have to keep an eye on it! :) I do love your cards, Sandy, though I would prefer kitties over puppies, as you might tell from my profile photo (that's our youngest, Barney). :) A tip for shakers that I got from Nina-Marie Trapani, is to adhere another piece of acetate to the back of your window. So, make your shaker window as usual, pour in the shaker elements, adhere a second acetate piece over the back of the window, and then adhere to your card base. That keeps everything in place, you can still see to line up your window (if that is important), and the beads/sequins/etc. move better! Just thought I'd share that little nugget of wisdom. Thanks for sharing your cards, Sandy! :)
I just can't believe it!!! I allways struggle with my watercolor pencils (I don't use them any more...). Thank you, I will try with better pencils 😊
cute as always Sandy! you are really making me want to try cards LOL
Thanks for showing how to paint/color the scene behind. Most people will want to use the stamps multiple times. so showing the scene as well as the shaker gives more options and ideas on how to use them. I really like the Ellen Hutson windows because there are a variety of shapes and sizes.
So cute Sandy and the little images are darling!
Not an inappropriate comment ,would be inappropriate to show your bra doing it maybe lol. My dogs & cats always send cards to fellow pets & people. Love the shaker cards, have yet to make one though. Great shakers, cute x
Cuuuuuuuute!! :)
You're quoting my dad: "you get what you pay for"
Dad knows best!
How do these w/c pencils compare to Inktense? (They look like they are similar....) I love Gerda Steiner stamps!
Dad said *"Buy the best that you can afford"* HOWEVER our Greed based economy of present requires one caveat to dad's lesson; remember to account for *planned obsolescence* [hindsight being 20/20]
Rule # 3, there's no amount of savings able to substitute for comfort. I'm referring specifically to bras & shoes. It's nearly impossible for me to laugh & smile if my "feet" are unhappy.
I can't remember I think in a video you said you don't do give aways? Anyway if you do you should give away the stamp set you don't use anymore or can't user or the ones you get just for the channel and don't use beyond a video I know I wouldn't mind used stamps and I'm sure others wouldn't either but today get it's a process and can be expensive to ship stuff
I do giveaways, but more on the quiet side; some crafters do giveaways on every post and that gets them more views/subscribers/comments. I don't care much about that stuff...I like being followed by makers, not folks wanting freebies! But I do "customer appreciation" giveaways, most often quietly - I don't tell anyone, I just pick a couple random students of my classes and send them a big envelope full of surprise goodies. It's expensive to ship out but more expensive to build a second house to hold all the extra stuff. LOL
Haha I like that you do it that way only a few youtubers I watch don't put give away in their title so I respect the way you do it
And I don't think the bra comment is inappropriate but I also don't get offended my anything unless it puts people down
