Really enjoyed this post! You two guys are good together, just the right amount of zany-ness..haha. Hoping to do the Badger myself this summer, so welcome any information/advice you can offer me? Im intrigued at your choice to do it south to north, others have done it this way for various reasons such as logistical reasons, their opinion of the best way to do the Corrieyaurack pass, and even the prevailing wind direction; I am interested in your rationale? Thankyou for posting this, as I said, I thoroughly enjoyed it!😁👍
Sometimes I miss words to describe Scotland. I'm in love with her. I wanted to go there on wheels 700cx38 but I see that the tires will be too narrow. Good job.
Hi Guys, really enjoyed watching you video & certainly makes me keen to do this myself :-). Are there many options to restock food on the way (shops specifically)?
Did this route over 4 days on my mountain bike . Loved every minute from Inverness until the falls of falloch where we started to bump in to stuck up walkers in down jackets and 300 quid boots jumping out the way of puddles incase they got them dirty . Funny how people buy all the gear and think they know it all 😂. We were humping our bikes along the east side of loch lomand and this older couple in said attire stopped us and said do you EVEN know where you are going and I said yes why is this route bad ( I've walked the west highland way before both ways ) and they were trying to talk us out of it and I said what's a better route then and pulls out her phone and proceeds to lecture me on proper navigation and planning🤭 ( I'm ex military and plan everything to within an inch of its life ) . So I opened my bergen and pulled out my bundle of paper maps and said what's a better route her jaw dropped at finding herself on an o.s map.
+1 for paper os maps. I don't know why so many folk now rely on digital devices that only show a narrow window of their route and can let you down when you need them most. Who would, when you can see the whole landscape around you with an os and its with you through thick and thin? Beats me ...
@@pootlingalong8928 exactly to many with all the gear and no idea . See it in the mountain bike world as well think cause they spunked 3000 upwards on a bike they'll beat everyone and there dick is bigger than everyone elses etc . I've got an old Kona 07 frame that I've built with old parts and it's solid and light enough for what I do and has survived the Badgers divide with nothing wrong.
Great video, beautiful place!
Aah, I recognised a few parts of that from my Orkney ride last year! Looks amazing, I must get back up there!
Chevere su viajeeee
Cracking video, look forward to riding the route.
For reference, Milngavie is pronounced "Mull-guy" 👍

You will more likely have tailwind going south to north, apart from that it would be fine either way! Have fun!
I love that each point of interest, including the rain near Rannoch Station is announced like a prize fighter. 😁
It felt like a fight at times!
Nice to see this route from a bike :)
Loved the film,. Any closed gates or syles that require a climb
All gates can be opened!
Good video. Any particular reason you decided to do it South to North?
@@Papadoc1971 usually a tailwind!

Yes - a few good resupply points, so you don;t ahve to carry too much food
Get an msr trail filter for water some of the streams are crystal clear and taste amazing .
Loved the video - planning on doing it this year - I've got to know, what did that woman shout as you rode past?
Your welcome I believe
1:19 isn't Conic Hill. It's Dumgoyne. Good otherwise.
