I agree and disagree at the same time
Sounds like you concluded that Monique has "changed" and the last 2 minutes of the episode showed some compassion and remorse when actually she exposed yet another lie. She said at the beginning of the meeting that she was there to talk badly about Candiace but literally her last words she spoke responding to Karens "We'll use this situation to show Black girls how to turn a negative into a positive" was "and show them how not to provoke." A supposed dig at Candiace but really it's a dig towards herself because the 8 episode lead-up to this attack (not a fight) could be considered "provoking" as well.
So many times Monique was looking to start a fight with Candiace, Candiace had walked away almost every time. Even the night of the attack, Candiace was still trying to de-escalate the situation by saying "Yes, I love Monique" but sis had had enough of Monique's digs. She set her butt straight by simply mimicking what a fool Monique has been for pretending to be asleep and threatening to "drag" her. She was calling her bluff but unfortunate for Candiace, it was not a bluff for Monique that night.
Monique felt humiliated and embarrassed by Candiace's humorous and animated truth-telling and realized she had picked a verbal beef with someone she couldn't verbally battle. She lost the battle and need to regain power the only way she knew how; through physical battle.
What I gathered from episode 10 is that Monique has no compassion for anyone but herself. The tears she shed for herself were the only honest tears she had. I truly think she has an undiagnosed mental health disorder and is scared for herself. Sis had adrenaline pumping a whole week after the fight, that's not normal!
Did you watch her on WWHL? That was her last chance to show Andy, Bravo and the audience she has had growth since this experience but really she showed she has only regressed. I think it's over for Monique and that's sad.

Hi. Thanks for the note. No, Monique didn’t change. I mentioned if she would have led with the attitude she had at the last few minutes, they could have possibly received her better. I’m not a fortune teller, so of course I don’t know that to be true.

Thanks you made some good points. IMO neither one of them is innocent and the fight didn’t start that day, it started years ago really. Yes I saw the WWHL...and Candiace’s interview with Wendy. It’s been a year but it’s clear that both of them are very stubborn and still think it was the others fault! 😒

I agree with every point but the mimicking part was extra and unnecessary.

Monique’s issue is that Candice was her friend and Monique chose Ashley and Giselle. Ashley is a user who wants to get back at Candiace and Giselle is never going to be friends with Monique. The best that Monique is doing is not good enough because she is still lying.

I honestly thought Monique wasn’t over the Charisse situation and Candace not showing up to her podcast which lead to the chain of events 🤷🏾‍♀️ I could be wrong. But yes Monique still lied and the fact that she tweeted about it 🤦🏾‍♀️.

Monique could’ve handled it better but the narrative that Candiace is a victim is wrong. It’s dangerous for her as the main aggressor in most fights to be seen as a victim because didn’t win this battle. It means Candiace learned nothing since she’s not taking accountability.

As she the aggressor tho??Monique flipped her hair in the midst of a verbal altercation. The bigger question is what code of conducts do we live by in social settings. If you were at work and you got into a verbal altercation with someone, would it be acceptable to physically assault someone? If the answer is yes, that's fine, but you will probably loose your job and face assault charges.

I disagree Monique has been looking for a reason to argue with her ever since the season started Candace walked away every time. It was said that Monique was glad she wasn’t pregnant so she could be messy before the wine event. With the Charisse thing and not showing up for her radio podcast Monique was ready for Candace unfortunately. A verbal altercation should never lead to a physical one. There was nothing that was said to warrant that type of reaction. She was able to conduct herself when Ashely called her an Alcoholic and was able to walk away when Charisse showed up at Ashely’s event after spreading rumors about her alleged infidelity. Soooo... because Candace called you a fake friend you decide to punch her on her head and that’s ok?

I agree with your stance on how Bravo is putting this out and how they are handling this. They should've had these two women sit down and find a resolution, whether it's suspension or firing. But they want to use this for a ratings grab and try to wash their hands and absolve themselves.
