    I love adding this routine to my yoga schedule, it does a great job of hitting problem areas for cyclists and I haven’t gotten sick of it after all these years 🙏

    As habits ebb and flow, every few years I find myself getting back on the bike and wondering why I ever stopped. Then I start doing yoga again and always come back to this video... the facial expressions of laughter, panic, and everything in between always make me feel so much better about myself as I struggle with my own laughter, panic, and cursing to get through the workout... and it always feels so good! Thanks GCN!

    Am I alone in thinking this was very funny, Dan looked so serious at the start. Its enhanced by vivid recollections of myself attending a yoga class years ago- finding that it was a very innapropriate environment to laugh (much like a funeral) and then laughing as a result and then lol because someone trumped. :)

      +Nick Humphrey Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else needs to find out about wants to uncover yoga workout programs try Jadonite Yoga Fitness Buddy (just google it ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my friend got cool results with it.

    I have found that the strength training and toning through yoga has helped my bike training immensely! It is about engaging muscles through slow, intentional movements which is in contrast to the fast, intentional cadences we do in biking. I was talking with a coach about the concept of "muscle confidence," and the combination of yoga and cardio, endurance bike training has really helped my riding.

I come from a 1 year total stop because of a back injury and with (honestly) 100min of gcn workouts I'm back on the road again. This videos, they really work if have limited amount of time.     One of the most "real" yoga videos I've ever seen! Thanks guys for posting this! Being a fellow cyclist, it's nice to "workout" with you all and see that we all struggle with flexibility! Hope to see more of these as well as your trainer/watt bike workouts in the future! :)

    Went through the routine this morning and I feel great! Wonderful first program for me as a brand new yogaist/yogaer/yogi. Really want to make this a regular routine 2-3 times a week.

    I found that hugely entertaining! I'll never be as strong a cyclist as you guys, even though I've been riding most of my life. But, I do have a 5 year head start on you with yoga! :-)

    I really enjoy this video for 2 reasons 1) It's a good beginner sequence for cyclists. 2) It has some funny moments that make me chuckle.
    It would be awesome if you guys could make a few more yoga for cyclists videos to add some variety with a dash of GCN humor. That would be great.

    I love a good laugh at the lads (mainly Matt let's be honest) as much as the next GCN subscriber - because this is a video that really appeals to me though I find myself wishing there was more of a focus on the instructor.
    If you were to do more of these (please do!) it would be great to see it produced as well as your other videos including proper sound-staging and more camera time on the instructor for each pose, focussing on the participants when they're doing something well despite a lack of flexibility/strength.

    This is really excellent, thanks! I've always been athletic but never very flexible. I'm actually very encouraged by the fact that you lot don't appear to be any more flexible than I am, yet you're such fine riders. Sort of crazy logic, but it works for me! ;-)

    I couldn't do half of these moves! Which made me think have you thought of doing a vid about training while injured or a vid for older cyclists. If you could do one for a 54 year old who's 2 months post hip replacement that would be perfect (for me anyway).

    from my experience, ujjayi breathing is always mouth closed and breathing through the nose with an oceanic sound emanating from centre of the throat

    These kind of core exercises actually really imrove your cycling a lot (better stabilty at high cadence, say goodbye to lower backpain, much more power when you are riding standing). You can also do Pilates, which is more focussed on core muscle training compared to yoga.

    I feel like yoga hurts if I start out cold without my muscles warmed up. Like I am very flexible, but doing yoga without doing anything else before feels like i am stretching cold muscles and it hurts. What am I doing wrong? Am I going to hard on the stretches?

    GCN, i'mma let you finish, but there are no (0) toxins involved in this. Like, at all. If there are toxins in your body you need a hospital, not a yoga instructor.
    The workout was super helpful though, feel great.

      Pratalax I don't think it's meant to be taken literally. Breathing out "toxins" is more of a metaphor to assist in focusing on the breath, and focusing on the benefits to your body (part of the positive thinking/placebo effect I would surmise).

      Jack Harley Well I have heard some yoga folks make some pretty wild claims - so - it could possibly be as literal Pratalax suggests. At least they didn't say it cures cancer. And, yes, I have heard that claim made.

    I use this once a week if I can, good for flexibility base. I too identified should be a warm up before performing deep static stretches; I suggest you go a walk for 10 mins first. Their attempts to hold a 'deep' chair pose are pathetic, obviously don't squat.

    Not a very good video for Yoga novices. The instructions are ok, but the camera focuses too much on Matt doing the wrong thing and I end up copying him and looking like a goof.
    also would be handy to put at the start/in description of each of these videos the required equipment list (eg the roll used)
