I've tried Mack Weldon because of you and saw the Airknit on the website and it's perfect for the South. When you have to deal with humidity it's a must.

Switched from Tommy John's to Mack. Nothing was wrong with TJs and still wear what I have. But, the Mack airknits are amazing. I have their polos too

8" or 5"? Do they ride up and are they quick dry for summer? That's my main paint point with underwear, I have squatters thighs.
@@superseiyan I have both the 8” and 5” but primary wear the 5. These are the only underwear for me that do not ride up. They are very quick drying. I always have a pair on when I go to the gym. They keep you cool. When I go for a run, I usually wear shorts that have a compression lining, however I have been able to run in these and feel very comfortable. Something I can’t do with other underwear.
Have you tried Charlie by MZ? I have a few of the swimsuit but wonder if the briefs are worth it.
I'm a boxer brief guy most of the time, but Mack Weldon AirKnitX briefs rock! Another similar favorite of mine is the Saxx Quest 2.0 boxer brief, which I recommend you check out if you haven't already- similar material and performance with a pouch. I prefer the Quest 2.0 boxer brief cut to the AirKnitX boxer brief cut, but I'm really liking the AirKnitX briefs these days. Great beneath trim pants at work, at the gym, and I travel with them all the time.
I'm a boxer briefs/trunks guy but I do sometimes like regular briefs,I own some Meundies briefs but there not that great..how are the Mack Weldon briefs?
Eddie Palomares, Mack Weldon briefs are pretty great. If I'm wearing briefs, that's what I'm usually wearing, and mostly AirKnitX.

I like the Andrew Christian almost naked cotton boxer briefs. The single pack boxer briefs have a slightly larger pouch in the front than the multi packs not sure why cause they're the same style. These are the only pouch style I've tried and I like them. They run about $20 per pair but they lift up the goods nicely and create a nice silhouette. Almost too noticeable depending on how thin your pants are! I haven't found myself needing to adjust at all. With regular style underwear I often find the lack of support very cumbersome after having tried the almost nakeds.

@The Kavalier May be way too late to ask this but is there any chance you may have purchased more airknitx briefs in the past three months? I ask because the pair you have seems to be cut different than the newer pairs in that there seems to be more material in the crotch but less material in the seat. It tends to be a problem for someone who has a decently sized backseat, so to speak.
if your even a bit hairy (legs and such) then the AirKnitX isn't the best for you ... since over time you're leg hair will go through the material (will take a few hours to occur) and it will feel like someone is pulling your leg hair which is extremely painful
I plan to get the underwear and socks.

Airknits have no fly. Did you find that to be a problem? I’m just imagining having to unbuckle every time I hit the head.
No one actually used the fly open. Pull the underwear down and do your buisness.

How does the AirknitX fabric compare to the MyPackage fabric?

The Kavalier Could you be a little more specific? Is it the breathability, durability, overall feel, quality of construction?
Breathability, lightweight feel, moisture wicking, and overall comfort. Construction is very similar- they're both quite premium. Modal on MyPackage is nice but AirKnit has much lighter feel.

Saxx is by far more comfortable than the Mack Weldons, in my book. But, everyone's butt is different so what works for someone may not work well for another.

I bought a pair of Saxx. They are way too tight on my package; very uncomfortable for me. I didn't bother returning them (though I wish I did). I'm sure one size up would work a little better for me.
The most comfortable brand for me so far is MeUndies Boxer Brief. They stretch really well so I don't feel constricted.

Do you prefer the briefs or boxer briefs in the airknit x?
I am slowly shifting to prefer briefs overall compared to the BB as I get more comfortable with form fitting gear. Less rolling, bunching, and fabric to worry about. Briefs.
The Kavalier same here. I switched to briefs for exactly the same reason.. still get some looks like in the lockerroom like he's wearing briefs.. but idc. They look good and comfy. AirknitX is great.. especially after the first wash
