Temperature Controller module - Power failure solution- Donald DCruz

Power failure in universal temperature controller modules which are available in the market.
Here it was found that this module failed all by itself & on analysis , there was absence of +12 into the circuit. The R3 was heating up & we suspected the drive. On checking it was found to have a short across the regulator which was also parallel to a capacitor C6.
Removed the regulator but the short remained. so the C6 was removed & that was the culprit. Replaced with a capacitor of 0.01mfd and tested.
The module worked fine and that solved the issue.
