My 2 local Target stores have been setting on a load of these for over 6 weeks; it's the Voyager Class Transformers price point that keeps them from selling. At $25 they would sell out in a weekend, but near $40 is the wrong price point for these. With a price adjustment I'd buy Godzilla and Mecha, but there's other options. This isn't a critique of your channel or videos, not at all, and I'm glad your hacking situation is sorted out (for the most part). Oh, and the giant Mothra's from the Monsterverse movies are hitting shelves in Target and Walmart, I saw them for myself this weekend. 👍🏻
I was excited when I saw this in person. The packaging was great. But looking closer at the figure itself, I just couldn’t bring myself to fork over $35 for a figure that looked like $15 quality.
Its just another typical Super7 case of over pricing a figure just cause its simply "of the Godzilla variety" Its a jerk move not including a full building aswell. And why do all their figures come out super Glossy compared to their non glossy marketing images?! I wish theyd stop ignoring Us Consumers. Like NECA did. We just want some decently detailed and articulated figures that come with a building or 2 or a breath effect and is affordable. I wish PixelDan would call them out but then he'd stop getting free figures from them. Just an unfortunate case of popular toy collectors that get free figures from the companies aslong as they dont talk about the bads.
I got the mechagodzilla and… wow he wasn’t worth it at all Maybe if he was 6 inches tall and came with a full building yes 35 is acceptable but a 5 inch figure with half a building for 35 is fucking mad glad I returned mines
Might I suggest you feed on a nuclear submarine or power plant to re-energize? 🙃 You could always acquire a storage unit to help unclutter…not speaking from experience…😅 I’m getting this guy for Christmas. And MechaG. And from a 25% off Target coupon.
I saw a shelf full of these things at Target, both Godzilla and MechaGodzilla. There were at least 15 to 20 of them, yeah I think that speaks for itself… 😬 I’ll be surprised if Super7 doesn’t make anymore of them.
Hey Dman! I was curious about what you think of Frank Welker reprising his role as the voice of Godzilla in the animated series after voicing his father and siblings in the 1998 movie?
You'd think instead of Mechagodzilla as the other figure available, it'd be Biollante 🤔 You could try to flatten the boxes the figures come in for extra storage space. Maybe not save every box but at least the more expensive or rare ones.
i 100% agree on the price! i see this figure at work all the time, i really like it but for 35?? its way too much. i find super7 to be really overpriced sadly, i work at target so seeing their overpriced figures makes me kinda sad cause i wish i could them since i like em for what they are
These definitely beat the first few Bandai action figures on sculpt and tooling, but both series are overpriced. Thankfully, both series are taking things up a notch with a new level of tooling, so they will fight it out in the market once more soon.

$35 is too much for them imo, but they look fun. If they did more desirable characters(for me) I might pick some up

Seen this figure last month @ Target 🎯 & probably would of got it , if not for bills! Didn't have the $ for it & the box was crushed badly!

I just got the Godzilla minus one figure
Can you play pray from Godzilla minus one?
Imo no, but its worth like $15 and $20 at most
I know I said I might value it around $25 in the video, but you're right. This thing is worth more like $15 or $20 to me as well
Agree.

I wondered why they didn't use Godzilla 1993 instead of 1989
@DMan1954 Another good point.

I returned mine
At $35 this was an easy pass.
I don't blame you. What price would you pick it up at? If more of us vocalize it, maybe Super7 will listen.
@DMan1954 $20 would be nice, $25 tops.

Godzilla battle line lookin ahh
Not to sound rude but it looks like it's worth like $10
For me personally I'd rather spend $35 on a bandai figure
BioChonky
He sure is!!
