You can trick that robot by closing the app, solving the cube, then re-opening the app, and the robot will scramble it instead of solving it, since it relies on the position the app shows, not the position your cube shows. Or, you could always flip the corner.
Why would you do that

You can also trick the robot by punching it while its trying to solve the cube.
i love how at 2:24 after carl moves the top side, the robot tries to make a move but then is just like “wait shit i messed up“ then just proceeds to solve itself into oblivion

It seemed to me that the robot took longer, especially with the portion at the beginning while it processed the position of the cube to find the solution (before actually solving it)
anything that can be done by ai is basically nothing special. ie calculators for arithmetic, sensors and motors for rubix cubes. the most profound aspects of human intelligence exists in the abstract and intuitive

It only occurs to me now that perhaps A.I. would breed us and select for these traits, much as we do animals for meat, plants for food and animals for intelligence (think Kelpies, Cattle Dogs and Labs)🤔

The real reason why it took so long to solve one turn is because that he turned the top and it can only turn the sides not the top and bottom so it was actually smart enough to solve it.

As someone who randomly started getting recommend this channel for a topic i am not that interested in or know anything about. I am extremely concerned and frightened for whoever decided that a Bluetooth enabled Rubik's cube needed to exist

@@flakboy1157 Just think about it, a Rubik's cube with Bluetooth is like having a toaster with GPS, kinda weird and maybe could have a few uses but overall just doesn't make sense or need to exist
@@BOMB-DROPER-1000 a rubics cube with Bluetooth is rather like an oven with wifi so it can connect with you smartphone so you can control it remotely and maybe watch what you are cooking via a camera. Certainly not necessary but it has its uses.

Cube fans might want to see if their is a video of this week's AGT, they had a cube solver who actually got four stars from the judges, and they were well deserved.
Interesting that the cube can be solved never twisting the top face.

I don't think the robot is able to untwist the corner, so it would probably become unsolvable. Whether or not it would detect the corner being twisted, idk.
I know nothing about either products. But I assume that the bluetooth cube does not detect twisting of corners but only "legal" moves. Therefore the robot wouldn't know of the twisted corner and would "solve" it with the corner twisted.
@@anonymousanon4822 apparently twisting corners is technically legal, but only if the cube is otherwise unsolvable. Any other twisting of corners results in a disqualification. Least from what I looked up.
Idk why the corner would be twisted in the first place in a competitive setting. Unless that's part of the challenge, figuring out if your cube has a twisted corner or not. But then people who get a twisted corner vs non twisted would be at a disadvantage.

As an Amateur cuber, I truly agree not to let any noncubers touch your cubes. Here is my reason and let me explain it:
So I bought my Rubik cube days ago, my classmate Jasper borrowed it for the first time. He got so addicted that even is class he is asking for it, until one time. My cousin Cristine told me that she noticed earlier that Jasper was twisting my cube's corners. That's why I regret giving it to him/someone.

Aaaah the good old speed stacks timer. Memorys of distant past. Our teacher got that stuff from his american vacation over here to germany at our school. It was a big thing to the point were our school had its own tournament every year, the students would drive to other schools with our teacher to give workshops and i even participated at the germany championship. First as ... well if u wanna call it athlete (once and also not very successful) - than as referee(very more often with a lot of fun while doing it). Good memorys of good times. When ever we would drive out to give workshops i felt like i am important and like i could teach people stuff (which i could). Really boosted my low self esteem at that time. Also placing 3rd place in doubles out of 5 participants at the German Championship may not be much but it was something i could tell (without telling the overall number of participants) to feel proud. Speed Stacking really dominated my youth as that sport that i do. I really should visit my school sometime and see if the teacher is still around.
