If you filmed all that on a 'Samsung S7' then how the hell did you hold it steady for some of those shots. I like the capture of the 'works' tram, - they don't venture out if they can help it. What was the tank used for, weed killer or de-icing fluid is the favourite.? Good video with nice selection of trams. Well done.
You did a very good job filming it if all if I may say so then. Just proves what a professional photographer told me many years ago, it is not the fancy camera , it is the person behind it that matters. Really enjoyed, - it I hope you do some more, you have another subscriber.
The 'works' tram is out nearly every day usually, greasing the rails. It has a rear-facing camera and the live feed is available at MALL.tv, altough it is currently suspended because of the virus crisis I believe. The tank does indeed carry weedkiller.
There's a retro line (line 23), where you're guaranteed to catch a T3 tram but the modernised T3 trams are still in operation on regular lines and they will be for years to come!
I am from Prague myself and I can totally tell you that for transport purposes the new ones are way better and more comfortable. But the old ones are so stylish. If I moved from Prague for long the old trams and the noises they make would be one of the things I'd miss the most.
The one at 2:04 is a maintenance vehicle, rebuilt from a classic passenger T3. It applies a thin layer of synthetic lubricant on the rails to reduce noise and material abrasion. It also waters grass medians between the tracks every summer, and is equipped with an air pollution sensor to gather data as it criss-crosses the city. You can watch it live at www.mall.tv/mazacka-jede-prahou/slow-tv-8 - a camera is mounted on board :)
