This is a great training technique, but you have to be careful that the horse doesn’t think you’re asking them to paw!
KD Equestrian if you watch my video you’d see that I ask for it in a forward motion (thus not pawing) I’ve also taught this trick to tons of horses and never had a issue with pawing on any of them.
