I think it should be a given in the collecting community, that the smaller the scale of the figure, the less screen accurate it will be. Smaller figures are A) Typically produced in higher quantities, so less attention is paid to paint apps and B) Harder to apply details to since they're so small. Smaller figures can definitely have the advantage though when it comes to poseability and diorama options.

Um no? All kinds of figures can be bigger and have massive inaccuracies compared to shfiguarts and other 1/12 scale figures. Just because they are smaller doesn’t mean anything. Screen accuracy is still just as much prevalent as a hot toy. Hell even the marvel legends wolverine looks badass and identical.it isn’t about the scale. It’s about how much work you put in. Hot toys puts way more care so I can see why they are most screen accurate but it isn’t about the size. That’s just dumb. Example: SHF miles is way better than the ass that is hot toys spiderverse miles.
I like ZD toys but these figures are pretty inaccurate. Wolverines mask is super off but Deadpool is missing so many details, lack of gold, can’t use guns and no sword sheaths. That’s a major miss for Deadpool but I guess for the price you can’t complain.

in Malaysia ZD Toys super cheap and pretty good quality. Their Ultraman line is the best. Crazy to think they used to be a bootleg company but the quality so good many companies start to give them licenses.
I think Releasing the figures right after the movie is a pretty genius marketing strategy. Because if the film just released, people will want some merch and some figures and the legends figures don't come until November and the SHF don't come till January so until then, we got these bad boys right here
it's wild that the guns aren't actual accessories given they're removable and usable by deadpool even on the upcoming marvel legends figure, which is half the price of the one shown here that one even has the accurate gold paint
Marvel legends are quite hideous and the paint used, looks very cheap. ZD Toys are more display centric while Marvel Legends take the contrary as they’re aimed for children.
Im really rooting for ZD toys to improve the ab articulation. Love these cheap figures coz Im using them as a desk fidgeter, posing/playing with them while working 😊

Can you (or anyone that knows) recommend a Spider-Man figure that scales well with ZD Toys? I have the MK 85 and Deadpool, and I want to display Spidey with them as my Marvel trio. The ZD Spider-Man figures don’t look great, and the Marvel Legends looks too small next to them.
Try the Diamond Select Spider-Man figures. They do multiple versions of both the comics version and the MCU version, and I think they also made a version of Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man too.
After getting three Iron Man figures from ZD Toys... I feel like they are a decent quality standard for these figures. Marvel Legends is a constant source of disappointment... Sure, ZD Toys isn't exactly premium either, but they aren't expensive. Marvel Legends figures might be slightly cheaper, if you get lucky, but the difference in quality is big. I think ZD could improve their quality, but I feel much more inclined to get their figures.

The sculpting on these figures are incredible but I really hate the articulation at the hips and knees, its way to sharp of a cut when it should be more rounded.
odd that wolverine didn't get alternate eyes since his mask is also designed for the feature, they could've just included an alternate pair of the wing pieces on his mask
i wish there is an alternate angry head for wolvy. and a set of big eyes for deadpool. i think articulation is way better than those iron man figs. but it looks nice...

Yes proportions are very nice on these figures. That's why the SHF Wolverine looks like a disappointment to me. He has a small head and weird body proportions. If you ever buy that fig, it may be cool do a comparison video on the proportions.
I wouldn't mind getting both 6 and across 7 to 8 inch figures, these two would awesome to my shelves, ironically even I wouldn't mind giving a crossover shelf between these two figures and some of my other favorite 7 and 8 inch figures like the Masters of the universe Masterverse figures I have.
I like the sculpting. I think the designs are doing enough that for it's actual price point it works. Wolverines movie mask seems be giving companies not Hot Toys a little grief. I think it's due to working off the concept art very Jackman in the mask he wears in the movie. These all line up with the concept art when you compare them. I'm not sold on how they did the drop downs. Yes they look great in neutral but once articulated they stand out far more than Marvel Legends, Bandai, or Medicom. The elbow and knee just are very Mcfarlane toys in how the cuts are like from a knife. That articulation cut could look better. The torso articulation could be better. Not sure why companies seems to fight it. There should be more range.
