- Two Bulleids together at Carlisle! Even one would have been remarkable back in the steam age.
The day got off to a bad start - and a disappointing end - and I'm still struggling with a small laptop and old versions of software - but here's a record of the event.

The opening with all those people that came of a two carraige train, pull the other one, they were all going round in circles 🤣🤣 and coming round the back, but seriously it was great for you to catch to Bullieds today, cheers Steve .

maginificent Oliver Bullieid locomotives he would be very proud to see them running today its shows that the 1955 mondernisation plan was very short sited we need to built more new steam locos for the future of our railways
Alas - we cannot undo the past - let's just aim to keep the preserved locos running.

ScotRail will be loved for that overcrowded train. I wonder if they left anyone behind. I like your human touch with your subjects as much as the locos. Brings it all to life. With 8 Bullieds at the Swanage Railway gala that weekend I think it is quite remarkable that not only are there at least 10 operational but are all working during the same weekend. Must be a first since 1967.

100% brilliant footage
Always looking to see any people I know in your videos and this is the first time saw several people I knew on that very crowded train. Very enjoyable set of circumstances today which you captured in your usual excellent manner Many thanks again

That 156 unit was so ram full, I think you were wise to avoid arriving on that. You got some better video than I did in my attempt to walk to the North end for Tangmere arriving, she was closer behind Braunton than I expected. Whitehaven video turned out good the wind was certainly strong later on.
The only time I've seen a Dumfries train as crowded as that is the last train home on a Saturday night. At least in the morning they'd be sober!
@@schoolshorts I was told my S&C train would be like that from Appleby and thought of going back another way. It turned out no more busy than usual apart from Appleby to Kirkby Stephen. Sure glad it did not get this full.
