- It’s not about what you put in, rather it’s what you leave out. In this week’s episode the contestants must leave out all animal products and bake purely vegan. With one person going home, the contestants bid for the dish of their choice using challenge time as their currency. Will they have enough left over to complete the perfect vegan dish, or will they have bid themselves out of the competition?

I’m amazed honestly at the lack of skill of some of these bakers in a competition, on tv.
Forgetting ingredients, sloppiness, lack of good flavor and decoration.

Fritz is much more relaxed this season which is great.

When the vegan/gluten free bakes were judged, the guest judge commented that the bakers should have paid more attention to the tips for gluten free during the Master Class...yet not once did a tip for gluten free baking get mentioned...she was only giving vegan tips
You have to remember that we only see a brief moment of the lesson. The demonstration it probably an hour or more, and we see 10 minutes of it.
She most likely did talk about it in the Master Class, but it wasn't aired on TV.
This is definitely a unique way of holding a cooking competition...takes some getting used to, but I'm following along because it IS so different!

I have been baking for years yip i'm old, but I am never brave enough to just pour in flour and sugar.

What language are they all speaking?
Normal cake flour is not gluten free.
