I love it. You nailed the theme of the original artwork perfectly. It's such a cool model too. The armour and cape really do make him look like a giant fly. Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely loving your trench crusade vids boss. Been helping me with ideas while I’ve been painting my own. Being someone that’s colour blind I often make some rough combinations of cool and warm colours so your vids have been helping me keep a consistent colour pallet :)
@@Gutted66.6 Yeah I was trying to match the artwork and it really looked like a dark brown rust with hints of dark gold on the edges. Would be interesting to maybe do a video of different metallics dry brushed over different bases.
Looks outstanding, looks perfect for the lord of flies! I've been practicing on some old models, waiting for my Black Grail forces to be posted out. I've found a deep reddy brown base with gold over the top gives a really cool old and worn look. Bonus points for some green and brown washes over a few patches. 🤘
@TeddyKGBMiniatures you'll definitely make it look better than my sad attempts haha. Villainy inks are so darn good for making things look really nasty though, can't wait to experiment with them tomorrow.
@@Mr.Glitch Yeah I have been really enjoying them, but I think for my next video which will be the Amalgam I'm going to use a lot of oil paints to mix my own colours for it. Very similar to my Great Unclean One video. I'm hoping its going to work well on that model.
This is simply beautiful. Very elegant model (btw - I could be mistaken, but to me it looks like the guy is actually a woman) and your painting is just perfect. 👍 I like that warm golden tone of the armour.
I am going to get army painter speed paints. I dunno how to start. it is fdm printed and primed white. what the equipment I should be buying because I want mainly for trench crusade. and for the sultans and the court of the black grail only. if you can give me a list of things to buy. and what you recommend for a noob
So firstly speed paints aren't normal paints so I would recommend firstly getting a set of standard acrylic paints. I recommend army painter fanatics but Vallejo are also good. If you do go for speed paints then starting from a white prime would be the way to go as speed paints a very transparent and require to be applied to white or grey. Some other things to consider after getting a good set of paints are. Decent brushes(I like Rafael 8404 size 0,1,2 they are the best) but artis opis is also good. Wet palette (any should do or make your own) Dry brushes and if possible a dry brush palette. some type of brush cleaner/soap That should get you started. But if you have any other questions feel free to ask.
@@TeddyKGBMiniatures thanks man you gone into details an appreciate that. but I heard speed paints do the work for you and such. but when I watched you paint I thought to myself, I cannot do the same thing with speed paints
@@Shilbe-y3q Speed paints can be good but I find only in certain situations, If you do want to use speed paints I would suggest looking into slap chop guides as that will teach you how to use them to best effect.
@@TeddyKGBMiniatures yeah I did. the seem amazing man. but on small and filled with details miniatures. I cannot see myself painting a plague knight with them. any though
I agree it would be a challenge for sure. Thats why I say speed paints should only be part of your tool kit and not all you have. Start to think about getting some decent acrylics, you can build up in time like most people do.
Thanks, your best bet would be to use any other black enamel or oil wash. Or you can mix your own oil wash with black oil paint and white spirits which is really easy to do. If you really cant get any of these you could use nullin oil but the final result wont be as good. Let me know if you have any other questions

@@TeddyKGBMiniatures thanks for your answer!!!! I have Vallejo Washes, I suppose I can use the black wash to try to get something similar. What is the difference between Nuln Oil and Agrax? it´s the same? it´s better one than the other?

Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it, I had a lot of fun painting this one.
Excellent easy-to-follow guide with excellent results!

Thank you, glad to have been of some help!
Really great work, I’m digging into my trench crusade models tonight!
Thank you. Have fun!
Brilliant painting again mate , the brown undertone on the gold is great 👌
Thank you so much 😀I think that's the first time I have tried it.
@ giving me allot of inspiration for when I get my TC stuff printed .
It’s almost like a weathered bronze statue look .

Man, you have really got your presentation dialed in! I love it! Another Awesome video!
Thank you, it does make the editing that bit quicker if you can just use a standard template rather than trying to create something new every time.
Man I need me some Trench Crusade minis. They look insane. Even better with that masterful paintjob
Thank you, you can get them online at places like ebay and etsy or if you have a 3D printer you can get the STl's.
amazing as usual Ted! keep them coming!!
Thank you, should have more coming soon!
Loved the vid cant wait for whats next
Thank you, I think it will be the Amalgam next if all goes to plan.
Love it! Great job! Let's see a corpse guard or a herald next!
Thank you, working on the Amalgam next, but have the Herald ready as well so should be doing that too.

@@TeddyKGBMiniatures I can tell it's going to look suitably gross and lovingly textured. Possibly a bit...crunchy.

Could be actually, hard to tell with all the armour.
I doubt the plague knights are any specific gender to be honest
@@crunchothspinejustins.6148 Good point. Doesn't matter much anyway... as long as they look cool.
@ agreed
May i ask what drybrush brand you are using ? Couldn’t identify them :)
Great job and great video!
Thank you, I normally use artis opus or artificer so I assume its one of them.
nice!
Thank you! Cheers!

Thank you, should have another Black Grail model out tonight!
Can’t wait to see how you paint lord of tumors

You can get them from various places, I think the STL's and physical models are all available online now at places like myminifactory and ebay/etsy.

No both are the same only difference being that Nuln oil is black and agrax is brown. You can use both depending if you want a brown or black wash.
Do you always paint only using dry brush?
ABD....Always Be Drybrushing! But Seriously I love drybrushing but I do airbrushing and normal brush too.
🤔, how many Space Marines do you think it'd take to destroy the TC universe ? 1 ... maybe 2 ?
haha, not sure, the Shrine Anchorite might be a challenge. But given the advanced weapons most likely not.
