I live in an area surrounded by farms! And I always wondered what it would be like getting to the fields. 😍 I just love the way you share your daily life. 🌿🌿🌿 You are just so happy and joyful.
Snacks, lunch, waters, mascara, radios, notebook, 5'6" x 5" - we had a seat - usually metal to sit on and normally a canvas water bag that hung on the tractor somewhere with a rope handle. that you filled with water and soaked the outside for evaporative cooling and then drove for about 6 hours before noon - went to the house for lunch, refill tractor with fuel (we used propane/butane) and then drove for another 8 hours before heading home to feed livestock, bathe, eat supper, sleep a few hours and do it again
Laura please stay you...Your happiness and joy is contagious and makes us happy too. Same with Grant he is just a good DUDE! Humble and kind.......both of you stay that way!!!!
I don't know howmuch time you are spending on learning these tools. Your explanation is truly amazing. You will be future star in farming. Good luck. Keep rocking
Your channels is so much better than how farms work. The fact your equipment is much more epic is very cool to see. The only farming i get to do is in farming simulator.. heeeeee
You’re a cute girl with a great work ethic. The guy that lands you will get a diamond. I grew up in rural Illinois and like watching farming and learning! Keep up the good work!!
Good evening from Germany! It's always interresting to see how farming equipment in the US is different from what is used over here. For example that John Deere planter is sold here as well, but only up to eight rows. That's the usual size for such machines in Europe, bigger ones are pretty rare. Also, liquid fertilizer is almost never used here Germany. Most planters are equipped to apply dry fertilizer instead. Those tanks on the sides of the tractor would not be street legal anyway. Roads are pretty narrow, there's much more traffic an trees everywhere, so the maximum width for agricultural machines allowed here is three meters (close to ten feet,) with exceptions only for combines or forage harvesters. That's also the reason why double wheels aren't common around here. Most tractors have big single wheels. Narrow wheels such as those on Lauras tractor are only used for spraying. I'm not used to writing English so sorry for any mistakes :D Great channel!
afaik the 3 meter thing is only applicable to Germany. In most other countries you're allowed to use wider machines as long as you don't go on main roads, but in many places you wouldn't want to use twins on the road because you'd never be able to get where you're going; due to the narrow roads. In Denmark the regulation is a little fuzzy because the farm equipment is a special vehicle category, so they are allowed to be oversized on country roads, but are restricted to 30 km/h, and for the same reason they're not allowed on certain roads and any road that have a minimum speed limit like motorways
@@thesteelrodent1796 I don't know the exact rules for every country, but here in Germany, they are pretty restrictive. Agricultural vehicles aren't allowed to be wider than three meters, higher than four meters or heavier than 40 tons / ten tons per axle. For everything that surpasses this you need a special permission, which you may or may not get. Afaik rules in other countries aren't as strict. In the Netherlands for example, vehicles up to 50 tons may be used on public roads without special permission.
I have a confession to make.......as a 63 year old English farmer I am addicted to your channel !! Fascinating to see your methods which are so different to ours, as we don’t grow corn(maize in English!) or soya, but white straw crops, wheat, oats, barley also beans peas and Oil Seed Rape. Having been farming all my life I am picking up a few tips!! Keep up the good work, - a global ambassador for agriculture!
Good to see Papa Kurt out there...Cant wait for you to come to Central NY so Claudia (NYFG) will let you drive on some of our hills...LOL OH I just saw you are almost to 150K!!! Lets get them over the top!!!
Within your planting purse you have a notebook for jotting down ideas, been trying to get my kids to adopt that practice for years. I've fatefully practiced noting my thoughts for 40 years, the cool thing is as I get older reading my notes brings me back to the day I wrote it, and why. Like your attitude and how you think. I'm a fan, you brought smiles to my heart. D. OKTIM May you have GOOD LUCK in your life.
Great video! Enjoyed Grant’s little segment too. 😊 Why do things break? 🤷🏻♀️Stuff happens...you are doing a wonderful job. Your “inside my tractor” info is so helpful. Thank you! Love ❤️ Grammy
There is something about an infectious smile and a passion for their work.. I live in Wales (farms here are diary and sheep) and run a set design business so why am I watching You and Larson Farms... Because of the passion you both put into your Work and the way you share it with us, Love watching your vids keep up the good work.God bless From the other side of the pond
While I am sitting the hole day at a desk, doing my work, sometimes i feel the need to do something different! Then I watch Laura and Grant doing the Field work, and yes, that help! Then I can do my stuff again and did not turn crazy 😜 thanks for that 👍🏻
The 5x5 cube life seems like a life I wouldn’t mind living 😂😂, love your happiness! You make it so interesting Laura! When are we going to be seeing a Grant Farms RUclips channel??
I enjoy watching how you do things and the large expensive equipment. Very interesting.... He said he was planting along side I-80..... I’ve been thru there.......
What an adorable young lady.....and about as super cute as it gets. So full of life and a great attitude! Just watching her be her, and doing what she does makes me happy!!
Finally got the house tour sweet 🤣🤣. I know you’ve a firm grasp on what your doing on the farm and your still learning every day, I was wondering why dad doesn’t ride along and show how to do the end rows. I would think it would help out making things run a little more efficient or is a simple matter of he just wanted to get out of the sprayer.
Great channel! You are a smart, resourceful and talented young woman. Its so awesome that you are showing people how farming actually works at this level of production.
I love how your eyes light up when you talk about planting. I can tell that you enjoy it. I like it that you are including Grant in your videos. Include what your dad says when he comes out to fix or check on things. You have a wonderful family Laura!
It came from together. It's good you understand that you didn't break it, it broke itself. Worked on a farm in high school. They had these old International tractors and implements. You almost never made it through a day without something happening. It was nice when they bought 3 4840's brand new!
Hi Laura. I'm watching your channel from Belgium where tractors have less tires. I'm amazed how passionate and knowledgeable you are. I'm also amazed at how much candies you can eat and and still stay fit 😀!
At my workplace we use 500 numbers as our radio ID on our Motorola radius radios. Mine is 500. I used to be, 503, 504, 505, 517. 500 is the control room.
Anything mechanical can and will break at the most inoperable time. Good to check for obvious problems, things that should move are able to, things that should not move don't. Your right to follow the seed path if things plug up.
I think it's time we all pitch in n get that Fent combo for Laura. My friends it's less than $7 each as a gift from US (suggestion however look how simple this is as a random act of kindness)
I love your Videos and Content! I grew up in a Farming community and have many friends that are still farming today. I wasnt a farmer but I did help them often Bailing Hay and with Tons of Massive Pumpkins and some Dairy work as well. Much Respect to you all and keep up the GREAT Videos!
You have just discovered Rosanna Rosannadana's Axium. "That goes to show you - It's ALWAYS SOMETHING!" You can't just have everything work until it's time for maintenance and get everything fixed at the same time and be trouble free.
While you were posting about riding your tractor, I was out riding mine. Of course, mine is just Murray lawn tractor with out all the frills of your, the AC works pretty good if you go fast enough. Love to see you getting it done! Your do-overs just add to the uniqueness of your videos.
Two thoughts that this video brought to mind. 1. You should have one of those desktop name plates in the cab because it is your business office. 2. One time when our car broke down I told my wife "You buy it, You drive it, You break it, You fix it. P.S The complex equipment you work with fascinates me !!
I think you should have a Grant bobble head in your 5 x 5.5 office!!👍
5x5.6 btw 😂😂😂
I live in an area surrounded by farms! And I always wondered what it would be like getting to the fields. 😍 I just love the way you share your daily life. 🌿🌿🌿 You are just so happy and joyful.

Laura you are the true superwoman! You are a true inspiration in these dark times!
Saw a sticker today. It said "NO FARMS,NO FOOD"
So Laura, you and Grant have the weight of the world on your shoulders. Carry on! Love your channel.
And no ethanol, cotton clothing, tons of different oils, etc....
A lot more goes into our food than people probably expect! Thanks for taking us along for the ride.

Stay strong and healthy!

I love how you do shit right like pressure washing the lids and seed packers!
Satisfying is clearly your favorite word. Lol
To the idiots that say you’re not farming. What do you call this? Because it sure looks like farming to me. I love planting season.
I enjoy watching how you do things and the large expensive equipment. Very interesting.... He said he was planting along side I-80..... I’ve been thru there.......
Fixing things is the work and the tractor going through the field is the easy part.
Happy smiling Laura, it never gets old.
What an adorable young lady.....and about as super cute as it gets. So full of life and a great attitude! Just watching her be her, and doing what she does makes me happy!!

Wait, you are going home and the sun's still up? Pop's two favorite saying were, zero dark thirty, and you're burning daylight!! LOL
I love how you showed us around your green home. Really enjoy watching. I was never a farmer but find it very interesting.
Lots of farmland along I-80. Took several trips from PA to Chicago during the late 90s. A lot of wind turbines too.
I think it's time we all pitch in n get that Fent combo for Laura. My friends it's less than $7 each as a gift from US (suggestion however look how simple this is as a random act of kindness)
I think that all moving parts break down now and then. Nice to follow you out at the field
Planting time in central Minnesota also. But,
cooler than normal and not much sunshine lately!

Laura, In your little tractor house, you could add a treat dispenser ...
Ohhhhhh that's a fantastic idea 💡 👏 😀
I'd like a beer and BBQ dispenser in mine, but then I'd never get a thing done!
@@joefudd then you'd need a porta potty outside the cab 🤣🤣🤣💩🧻

Your tractor cabin is not messy, it is well lived in :) .

Good day and good work
Thanks Laura and Grant!
I just like her smile
Laura is always smiling and in a good mood. Wonder why? Corn's at $7.31. Beans at $15.91.
prices are not that high for the farmers. FYI but they are finally where they needed to be the last 15 years.

very interesting farming equipment.
You should say you're favorite farmer on your "Big green farming machine!"
I keep a 13-gal. trash bag in the cab of my pickup truck. No long clean up, just put bag in trash can.
It is a lovely home Laura!
yes it metal thing will get weak over then break and they hot really hot and lock up
Go over the business stuff: when and how you sell your grain. Futures contracts, tractor financing, etc.
