I have fallen so hard....broken! Divorce, incarceration, addiction, and total brokenness! I wanted to die! I wanted to give up. Through Christian Radio, I heard this song. God gave me Faith...Light when I could not see. Azelle Calitz hey sis I have been thru the same as you ,and I have three kids as we lex she's 19 Nate is 14 and Kaylie is 12, some times the Lord doesn't tell us every thing,but one thing I know for sure is the Lord is merciful,and true to his promises , continue praying and reading his word,you will over come your darkness, I stuggeld with my situation for three years to the point I tried to condone suicide In my mind,but here recently I gave it the Lord fell on my face and literally cryed out to him,he says he here's our cryes ,and will deliver us,stay strong, I'm praying for you, god bless.

There is a God and if they choose to not believe then let them. Its their choice. I believe there is a God because I should be dead and i was at one point but i came back. Being hit by a car killed me and i came back and I have had a horrible life. Life endangering encounters and Im still alive by the Grace Of God.

Im always fascinated by people who claim they dont believe in God yet manage to always end up in a place where God is being worshipped. I pray God uses the opportunity to transform them.

Because as Romans 10:17 Says "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God" I think that also has to do with understanding as well. If we stay in His Word and His presence as often as we can, the things of this world that try to cling to us and bring us down, won't be able to stick to us. I can tell you really want to win this battle, be encouraged, you are already more than a conqueror through Him Who gives you strength!

So very true indeed. I have just returned from a Christian youth camp that I was at during the last week, and there was certainly some absolutely incredible stuff going on. In fact I think this song sums it all up which is why I've returned to post here. There were so many miracles, healing and growth that I have never seen the likes of before, and it helped me resolve a couple of issues I'd been having lately too.
As for the trolls, ignore them, best solution all around.
My problem is that I tend to think too much. But I remembered the other day the verse "All things work together for good for those who love the Lord". Yes it's having the faith to keep remembering that and not worry about things that's the hardest thing to do sometimes.

and one last thing this God we are talking about is an infinite God and we cannot fully know Him because we only have finite minds we cannot know how He works, how He intervenes in our lives, or how He created us

There are times when I just know God is helping me (and my family) through. Last night I felt completely at peace despite everything and today also I have not really been worried about anything (although still not feeling too good but for once it's due just to having hayfever rather than other stuff going on!) There is healing going on but it will take time, but God's timing is perfect, and the trials are what make us become more like him, they mould us into who we are meant to be I suppose.

I've heard this song so many times and out of all the songs from Kutless, this is the best. I've overcome depression because of this, but when I discovered how dark the comment section of this video, I had a phobia. It took me some time to heal and God gave me that chance to heal by doing this, telling and spreading the truth, the Good News. To the one who commented such things, let me just ask you if you even listen to the message of the song? It says, "Miracles just happen, silent prayers got answered, broken hearts become brand new, that's what faith can do". What's in the chorus isn't a joke or false, that is the truth, you just don't see things because you won't believe. You don't have to say that our mentality breaks the reality, the truth is that the reality is that everything is possible. We became emotional because God reminds us about His constant love for us.You would absolutely won't see anything if you won't believe first. Knowledge isn't the key to the mysteries of this world and to the Kingdom of God. Proverbs tells us to trust God and do not lean in our own understanding. Have we created the world? We don't, so we have no right to judge and say that to our creator. I have seen so many miracles, God even texted ME! My dad almost died, my grandparents abandoned him, but now we are living a stable life. Does Science know everything? Solve everything? No! I haven't read your all comments because I already know it's false and Jesus warned all of us to be beware of fake prohets. To inform you, His sheep know His voice and we follow Him. The funny thing is, I've found since returning my initial problem I was having (that is, I was struggling to trust God for some stuff), has now become whether I'm actually strong enough to let go of stuff that I know I need to. I've already been down the path of not letting go a couple of years ago, and it hurt so much, and I don't want to go there again. Man life is confusing at times, but I am finding that keeping on praying is helping me a bit.

Just needed to hear this again, been feeling a bit down for about a week now, but I've been through 6 months+ of depression before, I'm sure I'll get through this. Just a case of what I can learn through this, and finding some degree of faith in myself as much as anything I think.

I was changing radio stations on my way home from vacation. With my kids sleeping driving in the dark. I heard the beginning of this song and stopped to listen. Half way through the song I started to cry. I knew then I had to find this song. I woke up my son to find it on you-tube. He did and played it again on my cell. He also enjoyed it. I have sent this song to friends you needs help with life right now. My 3 hour ride seemed only an hour after this song. So glad I changed the radio station.

He IS merciful. How many warnings does one need before falling from a cliff to their own death? It's like seeing 5 "Danger Ahead" signs but you keep on going. The person who put those signs there did so to warn you and protect you. But if you insist on ignoring them, you bring danger to yourself that you easily could have avoided. Just by heeding the warnings. "I expect more"... God is who He is and will do what He does, regardless of your personal oppositions to His plans.
It might be another 30-50 years before it happens. Hopefully 30 years, but I can wait.

i totally agree. it's just a matter of holding on and being patient. i try to make the most out of the situation, like viewing it as an opportunity to get closer to Jehovah. In his own due time, things will be better. :)

So true, even if it does take a long time. There's been things happen at home in the last few days which have led to major problems, and it's been getting me a bit down again, but there's still part of me which believes that we're all going to come through stronger as a result. What I'm struggling with most I think is that I can't really tell anyone the specifics at the minute.
