My first impact was a Hyper Tough before I bought my Bauer and never had a problem with either one except keeping them charged. They're great tools you just need to upgrade your batteries when you can and buy at least two to stay in the game. Great review!
With a 4ah battery this little tool isn’t bad at all. It’s not as strong as the Milwaukee, but for the price it’s decent. The 2ah that it comes with is next to useless, it did remove a lug nut for me with the 2ah, but it also shut down a few times. With the 4ah it’s actually pretty stout. Also, you’re using an adapter to 1/2” which also robs power. It’s perfect for tight areas and top of the engine work, where you don’t need a ton of torque.
I know you may not want to invest more into it but a 4ah battery will work better
Hyper tough deserves more credit these tools ain’t that bad
i agree
Try the lug nut test again with the 4ah battery and you were loosing loads of torque with the 3/8 to 1/2 " adapter

thank you!
impact should never replace a 4 way but having this impact saves so much time and its a really handy tool all of the hyper tough 12v lineup are
good post!
watch till the end a review on taking lug nuts off 3 different cars. let me know what you think
If I bought one of these I’d most likely use it on mower repairs and some engine repairs but I’m thinking about getting one to play with.

Whoever torqued that first wheel didn't want you to take off the tire, ever. 😅😂
Mind works perfect on my Toyota, good enough for me
Right on
4ah battery makes them way better even in the ratchets worth buying it and the fast charger
12 volt 3/8 drive was never intended to remove lug nuts. I have that tool and it is awsome for what it's intended for.
The drill is strong, the problem is that most Fords have the nuts tighter.
your right its strong
Thats a good review im just stuck with the ridgid battery ecosystem and use my ridgid subcompact on damn near everything.
thanks
my ryobi impact won't even do a lug i have to start em with breaker bar, still much faster. im looking at one of these right now for 44 bucks.
i think your like it
I like dewalt alot
I used a dewalt to remove my rear flange on my rear end of my truck
You would benefit from a 4ah battery, and you are losing torque by using an adapter.... get some dedicated 3/8 drive impact sockets.
It's just a Milwaukee m12 stubby copy.... You are also loosing a bunch of torque with that 3/8" to 1/2" adapter
the more i have used it. the more i like it.
just done another review on it
You need to Jack it up a bit to take the pressure off the wheel
My dad taught me that, works great im telling you
Not with a good impact...
JUST WHAT i EXPECTED.
No 12 volts can do lug nuts. Not any brand.
Those Lugs are over torqued !
😂 those cheap ass ford lug nuts suck. Always getting stuck
