Love the video's 3 Seas! You all are awesome. Question - I have a 24 Xtrainer I got for two reasons. First, I'm new and it seemed logical. Second, I'm 5'8 and still not flat footed with the Xtrainer lowered and inch, but its better than any other bike. That said, as I get better I'm wondering why I wouldn't just go to the 300 RR RE and lower it. Seems like it might actually cost less with everything you get. Was that a consideration for this gentlemen with the Xtrainer RR RE and why or why not?
Great video. I just went through this conversion myself using Yamaha KYB with Beta KYB axle lugs. The Yamaha KYB's have plenty of clamping surface for this. Based off this video I ordered the caliper hanger bracket from the RR but it didn't show up in time. Turns out the 2023 xtrainer caliper bracket fits perfectly....anyone need a caliper bracket?
I’ll stay with the Sachs. I find these to be so much more accommodating than the KYBs in Colorado and Utah enduro than the stiffer KYBs. Every test ride I’ve done on a KYB they’ve been really stiff like for track riding.
Hey guys :), when Do We get any Updates of this Project? Looking forward for an Detailed Review with the kyb Suspension Update. Like the xtrainer concept very much, but the Stock Suspension isnt great. And my Stock or tuned ZF Sachs Suspension on my 300rr either. So Looking forward for an Update😊
Well Mark raced it at all of the hard enduro events last fall so there is quite a bit of footage regarding this bike. As far as extra items it really hasn’t needed much since the build. He has done good without needing replacement parts! Enjoy The Ride, Jared
@@3SeasRecreation thx for the Feedback :), but Please so an xtrainer Review with the kyb Suspension. I think a lot of people are interested about it. There are some advantages/disadvanteges for Sure about it. Should an xtrainer concept stay as it is or is the race build also sooo nice and fun, that it really makes sense. ( the price shouldnt be voted, of its an expensive build AT the end)
If the forks are approx 1 inch longer, why not just slide them up in the triple clamp? Then you don't have to shorten them and you get all of the travel ??????????? I installed 48mm KTM forks and that's what I did. Works perfect !!
so ,basicaliy, it's like admitting the X- trainer comes stock with a too softy spaghetti forks - which is exactly what i thought... why don't BETA give us an X-trainer with regular 48mm forks, and also why they don't give us a 300 RR with an X-trainer engine ?!
Well this video is going to throw a lot of people off with what we did. This bike is specifically being built for a Pro Hard Enduro rider. He actually raced the bike on stock forks at the Tennessee Knock Out and was 23rd fastest against the best in the business. Stock forks are NOT bad. Also, the main buyer for this bike would not benefit from the 48mm forks. Enjoy The Ride, Jared
Yes, no need to change the tripple clamp, axle or caiper hanger or need to lower...easy peasy! I used a set of yamaha KYB SSS forks from ebay ($600) and installed the Beta KYB bottom lugs ($300) on them...everything slid right in!

Y’all are doing the XTrainer RR Race Edition that Beta should offer as an option. 😊

Would like to see KYB upgrade kits for 4T RR's.
Great video!

How is your feedback concerning the kyb xtrainer? which damper do you use? Does the xtrainer lost its agility and lightness with the heavier fork?
I’m hopefully doing the same kind of conversion using the Ohlins that I have on my 350rrs when I get a xtrainer.
Nice! Hope it all works out for you! Enjoy The Ride, Jared
What is your opinion on the mxt lucky cartridges vs swapping to the KYB forks?
I’ll stay with the Sachs. I find these to be so much more accommodating than the KYBs in Colorado and Utah enduro than the stiffer KYBs. Every test ride I’ve done on a KYB they’ve been really stiff like for track riding.
Would you happen to know when they changed from Ollé to Sachs on the Xtrainer?
@@emailkuan Sachs is only available on the X-trainer via the USA BYOB program...otherwise they still come with Olle.
@@PrimalEnduro good to know, thanks!
Curious about using the KYB vs the upgraded forks Beta sells for the Xtrainer? The Beta kit bolts on and no suspension lowering needed.
The boano kyb xtrainer Kit is already lowered, the guys here Took a regular kyb from the bigger Racing Modell. So the need to change it...

Я тоже установил wp+ x-trig траверсы , но всё равно занизил на 3 сантиметра и в траверсах чуть просадил

Why not just raise the forks up in the triple clamps a bit.
Well these are 48mm KYB forks so we had to replace the whole triple clamp. Enjoy The Ride, Jared
Can the xtrainer be plated? Is there a open tittle as some claim?
I had a plate for my 2018 Xtrainer in PA. Came with MC title.
