Which drone did you get? I just use the free version of iMovie. I spent hardly any time making this video, just slapped it together real quick. To do a pic in pic or shared view drag and drop a video clip on top of another video clip. Then in the top right you'll see some window choices, like drag and drop, side by side, etc.
My brother is retired and he's wintering with his wife in Osoyoos. I talked him into buying a DJI Mini 2, he just sent me some shots of lake Osoyoos today. He's having a lot of fun flying that drone. I have the original Mav Pro. In the beginning it took me awhile to figure out how to shoot pics and vid on a drone, GoPro, and iPhone, then upload everything into iMovie and put it all together. It was easiest to just use 1080P for everything. You know how it is, it takes awhile to learn it all the first time but once you figure it out that's 90% of the work. Am probably gonna be doing most of my motorcycle touring the next few months in Mexico, and won't take a drone there anymore, just too risky. First of all drones are basically illegal in Mx (unless they weigh less than 250 gm like he Mini) but more concerning if the bad guys see you or find it that would not be good, not worth the risk. I know Canada's laws are a little more strict than the US but it appears you can still use a drone quite freely up there. Am sure you'll have fun learning all that.
For the first time in as long as I can remember, I have time off from just before Christmas until after the first week of January this year. I’d like to go do this ride from West Texas, but concerned about the weather. Especially due to the altitude. You made this trip in March. Is it worth even attempting in late December and early January in your opinion?
Your only concern is Creel. Will be cold, possibly snow. But it doesn’t snow that much, usually the roads are OK, even in December/January. I’d start watching the weather channel a couple weeks before you go for the weather in Creel, but you should be good.
I was thinking about your question the last day and just to expand on my answer in my opinion you'll be fine, unless Creel hits a freak cold spell or snow storm (which you can watch for on the weather channel ahead of time). Once you leave Creel and head south towards Batopilas on the paved road (incredible road you'll never forget) the elevation drops dramatically when you leave Creel, and within 30 minutes you'll be amazed how quick it warms up. From Creel if you're heading west to Urique (another incredible road you'll never forget) the elevation doesn't drop for about an hour. Creel is a unique town, quite touristy, but its real neat to see all the Tarahumara women dressed up in their colorful clothing. Its not a very big town, two main streets, the hotels on the main street are expensive, the street next to it the hotels are much cheaper. If you want to avoid a cold weather morning start you can time it where you stay north of Creel, then just drive through Creel and spend the night in either Batopilas or Urique (whichever town/route you prefer). There's a non-paved road about 50 miles long that connects Batopilas and Urique (I did a couple vids on it on my YT channel) but its very challenging. Creel is high elevation and cold, but Batopilas and Urique are at the bottom of the Copper Canyon and they're very warm.
Excelente vídeo FELICIDADES saludos desde Acapulco México
Very cool. ✅
The drone shot in the right corner...need to figure out how to do that. Got a drone, just have not practiced much with it

That's how it's done in iMovie, I know you use the pro version which may be different.
