About 30 km north of Vasto you find this oasis! Our visit of Abbazia San Giovanni in Venere (the Abbey of Saint Giovanni in Venus) was a lovely, calm and genuine experience. If you enjoy this type of destinations, you'd love it. About 10-15 min drive from the abby you find Rocca San Giovanni - a small sleepy village surrounded by medieval castle walls. Come along!
