  • The stuff your friends have in their hangars sometimes is mind blowing.
    Well in this case my buddy Brice has a gorgeous Pursang Bugatti T37 sitting under the covers. Lets go fire it up and take it for a spin.
    Dont forget to get your shirts here.

      This is a Type 35. The Type 37 is the 4 cylinder "clubmans" version of the 8 cylinder Type 35 Grand Prix. I actually prefer the T37.

    STUNNING! I've seen these recreations at Goodwood Revival in the UK. But if I may so, it sounds like the owner needs to double declutch as he changes gears, lots of crunching with the gear changes...

    New subscriber here. I had one of the four cylinder models. I am getting ready to build a turbocharged straight 8 Bugatti T35 or Alfa Romeo 8c 2300 Monza.. I am still sourcing machines for the machine shop so I can make every part by hand. I am starting a RUclips channel with a 1928 Morgan three wheeler with 4 wheels MG special.

    That's almost what i would call WW2 RAF fuselage interior green- not an option back in period but doesn't look too bad, does it?
    Saw a Riley Imp with light green metallic paint once- and frankly it was hideous; easiest way in the world to chop 15% off the market value. Not seen it since. It's probably somewhere very dark.

      Ettore Bugatti was originally from Milan, but the Bugatti factory was in Molsheim, Alsace, France. He started his company there in 1909 when it was still a German town (became French after WW1).

      @@RoyCousins yep nothing Italian here, in 1909 , Alsace and Moselle regions was annexed from the german empire after the defeat of 1871, but return to France after the WW1 victory of 1918...according "Germany" was founded as a country only in...1871...I did work in the historic Bugatti factory in Molsheim who made today aircraft parts (landing gears, wheels, brakes and hydraulics) inside Safran group, mostly for Airbus, but still for Dassault, Embraer and...Boeing...The new Bugatti cars factory (made by VW group) is ~500m in the south from the historic factory...

    A little known fact, that inline 8 cylinder is a copy of the Miller 8. That is true racing engine.

    • @SirDrifto
      @SirDrifto  6 месяцев назад

      Wow never knew that. Too cool

    • @RoyCousins
      @RoyCousins 6 месяцев назад +3

      Not quite. Leon Duray sold two of his Millers to Ettore Bugatti, who was very interested in Harry Miller's twin cam cylinder head design. Bugatti copied it and put it on his own 8 cylinder engine. The resulting Grand Prix car was the Bugatti Type 51.

    • @leneanderthalien
      @leneanderthalien 3 месяца назад +1

      @@RoyCousins agree, and Miller was inspired from the 20's grand prix Peugeot engine (4 cylinders , 4 valves per cyl, desmodromic+OHC...)
