My goodness that's a wonderful job sir well done alot of work goes into it
That knife made all the Doubters in your life, Believers.😮🤜🤛
Thanks for taking the time to share your processes, particularly how you fussed with the cold blueing until you got it where you wanted. I love the blade pattern; might have to order me some ball bearings.
You bet, thanks for watching
It's classic, it's modern too. A very special knife, very very good looking. :)
You're right - the alteration to the guard is an improvement. Beautiful! That may be my favorite knife so far!
A fine job, the pattern looks great along with the grain of the handle.
That's a beautiful knife. Great video. Be safe and God bless
I’m gonna have to order some stickers for my hard hat! Great knife as usual.
Well Elijah the hacksaw scared me and I've been waiting to see what you came up with. That being said, I should never have wondered. You hit a home run with this project, every part is fabulous, I really like the blued guard and the damascus is gorgeous. I won't leave out the handle either, the whole piece came together perfectly, very nice job.
It turned out amazing! I love the juxtaposition between the wood grain and steel grain, and how the colors all compliment each other throughout both
Beautiful pattern and nice wood choice to compliment it! I think I like your original logo better, just the simple compass 👍
Thanks man!
Beautiful knife
That handle is stunning...good choice. The Damascus pattern is more stunning than the handle!
Incredible work! Big fan of the series style videos as well
Awesome, thank you!
I do love me a nice museum fit!!!
What a great looking knife. Truly heirloom quality
Got my moose knife and sticker today lol.
Great knife
Awesome!
Very nice work! I think it all came together great!
Great video and great job on the blade! 👍
Incredible craftsmanship! I put Kyle Royer pretty much at the top of the heap for stunning bladesmithing…you can comfortably sit at the same table with him.
Thank you, that's quite the compliment, I wouldn't say I'm there quite yet, maybe someday!
This is your best work so far. Especially with the spacer recovery, making a goof into an improvement. Awesome job as always. 🤘🇺🇸
Absolutely Beautiful blade

Great work good video
EYE LIKE IT!!!
Oh, and BTW, I like the new logo!
Thanks!
Beauteeful!
love it
Very Nice! Are you saying "Museum Fit?" If so, define those tolerances. Please
It's describing the chamfered, proud fit of the handle wood to the bolster. Not sure where the term came from.
I was just trying to figure that saying out. Thank You @@FireCreekForge
Going out on a bit of a limb but it might be one of your best so far I reckon
Thank you!!
Will this knife be ready for sale on your site soon
Yes sir, listed now
what is that song at the end
That blade looks really awesome! Out of curiosity, what do you do with the Damascus bits you cut off during the process of the forge?
The cut offs on this billet weren't great so I tossed them.
@@FireCreekForgeIt would be really cool to repurpose those into something. There are a lot of cool small projects like rings/jewelry and such that would be a fun thing to use those.
That knife turned out fantastic. Great job Elijah👍👍Just curious from start to finish how many hours do you suppose you put into that blade?
Thanks! I actually kept track this time, 55 hrs on this build. (Before making a sheath)
@FireCreekForge that's mighty impressive. I think I'd be hard pressed go come up with something half as good and 4 times longer. I really like the choice you made with the guard and how it turned out in its final form.
Wht ever inside canister iron sand is the product. Wht ever inside canister if twisted the patern will be the same
Twisting makes a different pattern than not twisting.
Why would did u leave the ricasso so long?
What was that red goop your coated the tang with?
He says in the video…red bearing grease.
🥴
